@DarkSorcerer: @Redletter: "I don't know where we are, exactly. Somewhere in Europe, but that's all I can figure out." Antonov explained carefully pacing the room then stopping in front of the large window. "I can sense some sort of barrier around this island, so there's no use trying to swim away. The magic, energy, or whatever is making the barrier is powered by some source in this mansion. Most likely the owners are of supernatural decent, or maybe are magicians like myself.
"Oh... aren't you a sharp knife?" A woman's voice echoed through the room. Antonov checked for a reflection in the window, but saw nothing. Then he finally pieced together everything and spun around. The magician had no idea how she got there, but a young woman was standing behind him. She looked pale, and sickly. Curving over her voluptuous lip was a white fang. Her long, straight ebony hair was thrown over a shoulder casually and her chest was barely contained within her thin dress. "I'm sorry boys. But it's time for dinner... and you're on the menu." Briar cackled.
Antonov looked back to his two companions and cursed under his breath. "Vampires!" he screamed.
@The_Puzzler:
Lamia
The vampire knew Puzzler had caught onto her stalking him. He stared into the mirror, but there was no reflection of the woman. Something about the way the strange man held himself told Lamia that he was well aware of her presence. There was no point to stalking him anymore. "Hello." She breathed against Puzzler's neck and softly brushed her fingers along the man's jaw. "Aren't you a bit far from home?" She asked, her husky, sexy voice never wavered as she mumbled into The Puzzler's ear.
Lamia tickled Puzzler's neck with her long sharp claw. She chuckled and licked her lips, then gasped playfully as she drew a small point of blood. "Your sanguine... smells... intoxicating. You smell alien. You smell wonderful. Hmmm let me have a taste!" She barred her fangs and moved to snatch the Puzzler's neck and drain him of his blood.
