This...is stupid. Everything they've done, every decision they've made regarding the reboot has been complete and utter horse shit. The Question is a conspiracy theorist. He is a human. Not part of your magical derp-squad, Johns. The DCnU is the ultimate ass-lancing of comic books. You don't have to be a hardcore DC fanatic to know that this is all a bunch of poorly contrived garbage. Almost everyone is out of character. The storylines are mundane and the writing, overall, is atrocious. So much. There was SO MUCH they could have done with this. They had brilliant characters to work with, and this is what we get? What a bunch of uncreative assclowns.
I've really come to love Thomas Wayne as this universe's Batman, but having him alive and well in the proper DCU would just be too much. That would be a major change to Bruce's character and I've had just about enough of all the changes with Bruce already now adays.
Oh joy. I see he's gone the Jigsaw route. Not only do I have to solve all his riddles, but now I'll have to go through various death traps in order to do so. (Which is awesome) But still, /please/ tell me I get to kick his ass this time. Getting him arrested in the last game after all that trouble just wasn't enough for me.
Oh, now he's concerned? I seem to recall Damian decapitating someone and merely receiving a slap on the wrist. Great parenting there, Brucey. Damian is another Jason Todd waiting to happen, and frankly I hope he gets whats comin' to him. He's one of the most pointlessly annoying characters ever to be put into a Batman comic.
Whether they make loads of money or not, these movies will always have some type of audience. Mainly us. Me personally, I will always feel obligated to watch every comic movie that comes out, no matter how bad it gets. It comes with the title of 'geek.'
