@sufferthorn: it's true... The only good thing right now is Superior SpiderMan mainly for its unpredictability. After all the new number 1s frenzy, I'm keeping my distance from Marvel for a bit.

Yea. I feel like Marvel's writing has been toned down ever since the Civil War, but that's just me.

Disney bought Marvel almost right after the Civil War too, so strong statements or tough stories in comics are probably gonna start being a bit harder to come by from them.

As far as i'm concerned, the Marvel before Disney and after are different universes.

I feel so honored to be the first comment. All of my hardwork and dedication has paid off. Getting the first comment has been a dream of mine for many years, and I would like to thank those who have helped me along the way. First and foremost I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity. Next I would like to thank my parents. I want to thank my friend Dilpreet Singh, for being really skinny and always there for me. I would also like to thank my pet tadpole for surviving against all odds for over a week. Next I would like to thank the squirrel that lives in my backyard for climbing trees because that gives me inspiration that I need to get through the day. This is a special moment in my life and I would like to thank any of my unmentioned friends and family that have helped me along the way. This moment that I will never forget. I just remembered a few other people I would like to thank; Stan Lee, the fish I caught in third grade, my light in my room because I wouldn't be able to see the keyboard without it, the internet for letting me go on comicvine, my house because without it I would be homeless, and last but not least I would like to thank all the people out there that actually took time out of their day to read this. I cannot stress how much of a big deal to me this is. I have been trying to be first comment on a post for years, but that has not been possible until this amazing day. Hopefully my good luck will continue, but this is undoubtedly a rare occasion. If you asked me how I did this, I would say, you can achieve anything you set your mind on. To all the kids out there reading this, I would like to tell them to follow their dreams. Being the first comment is amazing, thank you everyone.

Odin's about as top-tier as you get before it's just ridiculous.

If Electro can get a decent hit on the Torch it'll be over quickly, Human Torch(other than his flame-resistant suit and powers of fire) has the anatomical abilities of a normal human, who also happens to have some good combat training.

Electricity could stop his heart if he hits, but to do that he needs the jump on em. Otherwise torchie can just fire-ball em.

Is it just me? Or are Marvel's comic book series getting worse and worse these days. I find their plots to be either predictable and linear, or just so boring that it's not even worth it.

The Marvel Universe is an incredibly exciting place, but some things are just getting so corny and dragging on, I feel like myself and a group of enthusiastic comic book nerds could write better shit.

Just a rant-post I suppose, but whateves

Maybe people could recommend some comic book series for me in Marvel that ARE good? Or if not, some DC.

Kryptonite iron man suit

do tell us where in the universe is tony gonna find that much kryptonite to create such suit

He doesn't need a Kryptonite suit. He just needs enough Kryptonite to enhance the radiation in a field around him, he will also create repulsors and beams with the energy frequency of a red sun.

Speed and Senses are Supermans greatest ally here. Iron Man must find a way to hide from his enhanced vision and senses. He must create a stealth-suit that is undetectable to the slightest sound, sight, or smell in order to successfully spring a trap.

Thor should win.

Terrax is non factor.

Terrax isn't a non-factor. He just can't possibly beat Thor. He'll be able to help.

I say it's a decent fight.
