I tried...really tried to like this series, but it´s just pretty crappy version of the orginal comics run (one that I try to read once a year). I mean there is nothing wrong with making changes and stuff, obviously comics dont translate straight to films or TV, but it is just missing something. And I am a bit worried about the upcoming The Boys -series...at least it is bit more straightforward story compared to Preacher, but still...
I would say that rape of Barbara is very strongly implied in Killing Joke, in the pictures her position has been changed many times, so something that has not been shown has happened between the frames and pages. And the act of rape in itself is beside the point in the sense that Joker commits very blatant sex crime in this story by undressing and taking photos of Barbara...
If you look at paleontology and microbiology, it becomes pretty obvious that all life is irrational and lots of killings are always going on.
So, what did you find out from Joker`s fossil? Or his microbiology? And BTW, Dude, I am sure you are one those rare people that have a difficult life because no one can understand your intelligence...or pain. I am really sorry about the timid views of our time regarding psychiatry and psychology, hang in there, kiddo!
