Stryke watched every part. Every tantalizing part as the so called hero obliterated a bunch of puny terrorists. Truth be told, Stryke had been watching this man. He seemed like a good fight. Nothing more, nothing less. Someone who could offer up a bit of a challenge and not just a small weak resistance. Organizing all the things Stryke had learned, he mentally jotted them down.
He learned four things from watching this hero.
(a) He was invincible, the bullets were just flying off of his body.
(b) Used an old style hammer
(c) Wasn't afraid to kill.
(d) Could fly.
So much for being much of a dynamic hero.
Stryke gave the hero an devilish glare. Next time he saw him, Stryke would pounce. Now though, it looked like the wannabe was flying back home. Just then though, he switched directions and hovered down to Stryke.
"Sir what might your business be?" The hero slowed, confronting Stryke. A hero? Shame. An all destroying, multilateral peacemaker through destruction. What happened to the good ole' days. Yeah, those ones where no one was killed? Just knocked unconscious and put into a jail cell. That was where the money was at. Killing a few terrorist's was like killing a few mosquitoes in the middle of a rain forest. You lose eventually.
Stryke couldn't help but laugh. This man or whatever he was had just incinerated a squad of terrorist's and was wanting to know his business? "Nona ya," Stryke said defiantly. He was dressed in a black leather overcoat. Black pants, and a pair of hard-toed boots. He had his .9 millimeter strapped to his left leg, right underneath his thigh. Stryke's Katana was safely hidden at his waist, retracted to the form of just the hilt. He was fairly confident. "All I know is you just obliterated a few terrorists in the name of 'goodness.'" Stryke shook his head."If I'm correct, there should be no reason to kill. That's a hero's motto anyway."
Stryke turned to walk away. "But I'm no hero, and I don't do chivalry either," he muttered. Instantly Stryke grabbed the hilt of his Katana, pulled it out from underneath his jacket, and pressed the button. With his sword in hand, Stryke turned fast with his sword. Swinging one-handed to deliver a dire blow to the left leg in one fluid movement. The weapon was glowing, a show of his enhanced energy strike.
He hoped his strike would be able to draw some blood. With any luck, Stryke would be able to sever a muscle that would cripple some of the hero's movements.
With another strategic move, Stryke pushed his free hand up and delivered a strong telekinetic blast to create some space between the two combatants.
