Nolan could also take a page out of B: TAS and play Bane off as a world-class assassin and have him used either by Talia or, since we still don't know the role of Joseph Gordon-Levitt officially but the odds-on favorite rumor is he'll be Falcone's son, a hired gun by Alberto.

@Grim: Even as someone who is more familiar with the character, it still came out of left field. I recognized him immediately as a black lantern version and was like "No. You've got to be kidding me. No way are they doing this." I admit though, I can't wait to see what happens now. Mostly because it's either going to be awesome or a glorious train wreck.
