Cause a large enough explosion with his *infinite* energy and disappear, catch Black when his guard is down like against Jiren. Except the power difference isn't half as massive.
First - by feats. That way team 2 stomps. There's only one GoD with some actual feats, Beerus, others are either completely featless or neigh featless. If we go by feats there is just no way to even try and justify team 1 winning.
Second - by trying to look at the characters from lore-wise perspective, at implied power levels for example. That way GoDs stomp. There are only 2 fighters who were directly said to be on the level of gods of destruction so far - Toppo and Jiren. UI Goku just has one of the abilities of some GoD's and the likes if Kefla and Zamasu are PROBABLY at similar level of sheer power but we can only guess. Anyway it doesn't matter. There are 12 GoD's here and only 10 fighters, only 2 of which are so far on GoD level. This makes it a stomp.
Jiren is stronger than any God of Destruction, and Hit was able to give him some trouble. Hit can do the same to a God.
Monaka is stated to be a threat to a God of Destruction in the Manga.
Toppo can go toe to toe with a God of Destruction.
Jiren can destroy a God of Destruction.
Vegeta and Goku are able to compete with God tier power.
Trunks destroyed someone who was overtaking the entire Multiverse. Zeno had to intervene because nobody could stop him.
Vegetto was able to overpower someone who had the potential to overtake the Multiverse.
Kefla has the feats and statements to suggest that she's on a similar level of power as a God.
Just to hit on your first point, no one ever said Jiren can defeat any one of the GoDs. He beat Belmond, that's it, and we don't know how close it was. Not all of the GoDs are of the same power level, and according to the manga they each have their own unique abilities. Beerus can react to most attacks instinctively.
If we take Vados' statement about Champa and Beerus seriously, then Beerus is stronger. Meaning the GoDs have different power levels.
