Sorry about the amount of time it as been since I did the last one, I have just had a busy summer. The next part of the site I will give my opinion on is....
Quests
Pros:
This is a fun and addictive part of the site. It pushes others to learn about character they haven't read comics about and really adds to the comic knowledge of the average CV user. It also pushes people to use parts of the site that aren't usually as popular (Blogs, Lists, Profiles, etc.) They are also difficult for the most part, making it a big thing if you have done alot of them. I enjoy the art and clues involved for the most part and it also gives a spotlight to some obscure characters, which I am a big fan of. It also gives a shoutout to the mods, by giving them extra quests.
Cons:
I know this sounds contradicting, but this part is a little to addictive. I personally have reduced the amount of wiki I sumbit and time on the forums, because of the Quests. I suppose that is because it is so popular and well done. The only other problem I have, Is some of the clues are wrong and therefore missleading. It is agrivating, but tolerable because of the challenge it brings.
Conclusion:
It is a fun and interesting part of the site, that involves work and intelligence to finish. It also increases the amount of knowledge each user at comicvine has, which is something that is vital to the survival of CV. I personally think that this addition isn't exactly neccessary, but is thoughtful of the staff because of how much fun it is. A great addition that gets a thumbs up from Strafe

This is just a blog where I talk about different parts of the site that I am enjoying. I will do this about once a week just have something else to do. If you want my opinion on anything specific, just ask me and I'll talk about it the next time I do one.
Tasks
Pros:
The system has gotten alot done and has alot of pros. It is a big way to help with grammar in wiki here at CV. Tasks are also great for showing members new and obscure characters to research and read on. It also is a great way to gain points in a fast rate, if that is your goal. It is quite fun to do as well. There is also quite a variety of tasks, Filling in pages, Grammar, Filling in Appearences, etc. It is a good way for memberst to interactr with Mods as well, creating some relationships and trust. The biggest one to me though, is the fact that it is a good way to battle plagarism.
Cons:
I have a hard time finding Cons. The biggest one that comes to mind, is the fact that it is a big load of work for Mods, that they didn't have before. Mods are overworked and underrappreciated. This being said, we do have quite a bit of mods, so as long as they even out the work load, it shouldn't be too bad.
Conclusion:
This a great new addition to the site that will help us become the best wiki comic site on the internet. I personally have enjoyed being apart of this new addition and encourage others to do so. I hope this can be used to cut alot of problems we have with the wiki.
I know this is probably been done before, but I wanted to know for my own sake. What is your favoite publisher outside of DC or Marvel. Vertigo or Wildstorm is fine though. I'm looking for some good books and wanted to go outside the box. :) Thanks for the help.
So after a good while without Clint as Hawkeye, in the Heroic Age he will be Hawkeye again. Is everyone looking forward to this? What does this mean for Bullseye and Kate Bishop?
I am excited to hear about the return of Jade in Brightest Night! It will be interesting to see how Kyle reacts to her and the situation. I hope that she uses this second chance wisely, so we can see more of her.
