Nope. Storm can erect elemental barriers around herself that deflects TK energy. We've seen this on-panel. That means Jean's TK won't be able to reach Storm to break her neck or do squat to her. Following that, Storm has a faster attack speed than Jean. if you're going to use Jean in arguments, then don't lowball her. You took her weakest and most unimpressive feats, out of context scans and try to pass them off as the best she can offer.
You are so toxic and mad that you are trying to prove us in each thread why Storm is "better" than Jean, which simply makes you look like a clown
Jean could literally rip Storm to particle dust in less than a second. So in any ‘kill or be killed no remorse’ type situations Storm won’t have much of a chance.
This is not a rebuttal, because I'm right on my facts. Candra has TK power where she can manipulate matter down to the atomic level, and Storm easily deflected her TK energy with her elemental barrier. Jean would have a tough time trying to get through (and she wouldn't be able to since Storm has far more raw power than Jean).
That said, Jean has no real credibility anymore since it's become common practice at Marvel nowadays to devalue other characters and even ignore their own canon to try and prop her up. For instance, it was established way back in the early 80s on panel that Magneto's force-field has no flaws/weak points. Recently, they gave Magneto's force-field a flaw for Jean to exploit just so she could break through with her pink form. Not only that, but his mental defenses have all but disappeared to prop Jean up in battle against him.
On top of this, Emma's low end showings from this millennium are when she's up against Jean. You pit her against other telepaths that have defeated Jean, and Emma wins.
Then, there is the whole issue of making Jean one of the current omega mutants. Going by canon, she no longer fits the definition of an omega mutant, but Marvel is destroying its own canon by including her on the list. Her psi potential is not as powerful as Legion's, X-Man's, or Cable's, hence that is why Cable and X-Man were created to begin with. That means her TP potential can be surpassed, thus she should not be an omega mutant for the same reason Forge isn't one. Originally, she should've been on the list of omegas because of her resonance with the Phoenix Force that allowed her to be one of the few people around who could serve as its host. Now that anybody can occupy that role, she's no longer special, and she shouldn't be on the list.
By the way, you guys are the ones lowballing Ororo and are getting upset because I'm telling the truth about Jean.
