Bad Guys Gone Good

I get it, the world is not black and white anymore, but that doesn't mean most of the bad guys deserve an edge of sympathy. Most of comic's greatest supervillains are becoming Super BFF's with superheroes, and I am really getting tired of it. I mean Dr. Doom joins the Future Foundation, Magneto joins the X-Men(again), Sinestro's back with the Green Lantern Corps, Venom is an Avenger, the Flash is teaming up with the Rouges in upcoming issues! I keep thinking that sooner or later Magneto or Dr. Doom will turn against their heroic peers and resume their evil ways, but no, they remain on the side of angels. Some villains are the way they are because these characters represent the dark side our humanity and/or provide a challenge to the hero's sense of morality. Eventually, some writer will bring these classic villains back to their rightful place beacuse if these villains are not there to challenge our favorite heroes, then what's the point?

Peace (Though Tyranny!) :)

I don't have a problem with it if it is done right.

However, I think some of those you listed should become villains again. But, they probably pulled a "I was pretending to be good all along. I will now hatch my master plan" on us.
