Did they mention he's Latino?!? Doesn't that make you more excited about this turd that died 20 years ago and was rehashed to cash in on the Latino-spoitaion money? It's multi-cultural, like the truly authentic Chicano feeling DC gave Jaime Reyes in Blue Beetle? Remember Jaime's buddy was a genuine "vato". "Yo, lets eat some tacos, meng!" Listening to DC writers fumble with Latino culture is like listening to a white hippie talk about Kwanzaa.

Actually, no, I didn't. I was too busy focusing on why I like Vibe as a character and why it's important to write an optimistic kid living in a dark and overly-cynical world.

Great note on the tacos, though. I'm on it.

Thank you for reading, all!

@Cafeterialoca: Yes, Sterling Gates' work on the book was horrible. I was extremely disappointed. Everybody wants to blame Rob's art, but the writing is what killed the series.

...Mom?

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with my work, jsphsmth. I hope you'll give Rob's writing a chance. He definitely takes the book in a different direction than I would've and makes the series his own!

That was a lot of fun, guys, though the "Battles" Quest was impossible without the help of this thread! Thanks for your help, everyone. :)

@Babs:  Thanks for that interview, Sara. It turned out great! Always a pleasure talking with you, and as soon as I can tell people about the next thing I'm working on, you'll be one of my first calls. :)

Oh, and I agree with jeffreyc, you completely schooled us on that stage. :D
