Static Shock

Currently reading old 10-yr old PMs from my mod days, involving Erik, Spike, Babs, RazzaTazz, etc. lmao. The Vine was a circus.

Satyrquaze says:

"Captain America has brought the Hulk down using martial arts and leverage (and this is 616 Hulk and Cap in an issue of PAD's Hulk)."

I remember some of those. These examples are almost like Black Panther putting Silver Surfer in an armlock (yet people claimed that the latter was an example of bad writing but not Cap's examples)

Vlad Tepes Dracula says:

"Well, theyve encoutered aswell, and the outcome was similiar and ill post it if i can find it. "

As long as it's in the 616, it's fine. But, Ultimate Cap and 616 Cap are different. The same goes for the Hulks too

Vlad Tepes Dracula says:

"#BUThe did fight hulk ;)... so yeah kinda weird to determine the outcome ;)"

That's Ultimate Cap. Different universe, different level of strength, different Cap. Doesn't count.

Vlad Tepes Dracula says:

"Yeah and that Hulk is stronger than the normal hulk to so that equals that out :P"

No, it doesn't. And, the Ultimate Hulk being stronger than the original is debatable. Unless it's in the mainstream continuity (616 universe), it doesn't count. Period.

Ebony Bishop says:

"Okay, I'm assuming by the title of this thread that it's not Richard Rider Nova, but Frankie Raye Nova. And Iceman doesn't have a "nullifying" power, he has the power to control thermal reactions...so he just chooses to control those that aren't his, and he's fine."

It's Frankie Raye. Hence the title. Fire Mutants. Richard Ryder isn't in this...

Vlad Tepes Dracula says:

"Oh, sorry, dont have the before issue. But as i said, if he does use those powers, he should not be able to fully concentrate on his, and likely that it will nullify his powers as well. so we're talking about the same scenario as we would have here, if he decided to use his nullifying powers, but not against one, against 4. Plus Nova who has the entire Nova force in him and isn't effected by that Thermal Nullyfing power."

There's nothing that says he can't use his powers while nullifying someone elses.
