Wonder Woman #11 0

THE GOOD: I really am super happy that Cliff Chiang is back on the art. He manages to make the world real. He always has the same background but just a different view. This makes the art feel like it's coming from real places. I really like the way that he draws Wonder Woman. When she took off her coat for her suit, happiest moment for a long time. I really love the story. We are getting back to where we started this series. Hera has worked out a deal and Wonder Woman is something in the way. I ...

Superboy #11 0

THE GOOD: The art is really good. Instead of seeing an issue filled with Superboy in suit, we get to see him in normal clothes and R.B. Silva draws that fairly good. I also really liked the background detail in this issue. I really like the facial expressions in this issue and I think that they always convey a lot of emotion and humor. The story is a little lacking but fairly good. I really like seeing Bunker trying to teach Superboy about how to like things and that he needs to find things that...

Suicide Squad #11 0

THE GOOD: I think that Carlos Rodriguez does a great job at penciling this issue. He can to amazing facial expressions as well as awesome actions scenes. This series has been bloody and a lot of explosions and this artist can draw all of those things pretty good. I also really like the backgrounds in this issue. The story is simple and a little off subject. I really like how their plan explodes. It was a very clever way to do something like that. I also really like it that the team is a little f...

The Ravagers #3 0

THE GOOD: The art in this issue is fantastic. I really like Ian Churchill and I think that he is a great fit for this book. He adds a lot of details to the characters and the backgrounds.I really like the facial expressions that he adds to the characters and you can almost feel what they are saying. The story is getting better with age. I really like seeing that they are fighting a new villain and moving on from the culling and that is something that I don't think that a lot of the other series ...

Legion Lost #11 1

THE GOOD: I really like Pete Woods art, He has a way with making things simple but never too simple and it's just the perfect mixture and I really enjoy the final result. There is a lot of facial expression and the action is very fluid. I also really like the way the backgrounds are looking in this series. The story is really good as well. Just like the real Legion book, this series is managing a lot of plots. I think that they execute this a little better then the real book because this has 1/5...

Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E #11 0

THE GOOD: The art is fantastic. I know that some people complain about it, but I think that it gives this book a feeling that no other book out there has currently. I really like the amount of details that Alberto Ponticelli puts into each panel. It's also very sketchy and I really like that and it's just great. I also think that the facial expressions in this issue are great as well. The story is amazing. Frankenstein falls out of the city that he and the team went to last time. Nina saves him ...

Batman #11 0

THE GOOD: I really like the art. Greg Capullo should be the artist everyone goes to for info on how to draw Gotham. There is so much detail in the city and it's very dark. The action in this issue is also very fluid and that is something that I think helped this issue out a lot. The backup feature also has amazing art. The story is amazing. All of Scott Snyder's stories also have a huge symbolism to me and in this issue it's very present. I really like the fighting and when his brother tells him...

Batgirl #11 3

THE GOOD: Adrian Syaf is an amazing artist. He is a huge reason why I really enjoy this book. I really like the feeling that he adds to the whole book. It's very light and it's different then any other series set in Gotham. I really like the way that he draws action poses and the details that he adds into the panels. It gives you a lot to look at, The story is okay. We see Batgirl fighting a group of people that all have superpowers. I really like seeing the return of Detective Mel. I think that...

Worlds' Finest #3 0

THE GOOD: The art in this issue is amazing. Kevin Maguire and George Perez both draw this issue with George in the present and Kevin in the past. Perez adds a lot of details in the backgrounds and the characters look really nice. Kevin takes a much lighter tone and adds a lot of quirky facial expressions that make it really good. The story is good in some parts. My favorite thing about this series so far, is the friendship that these two characters have. It makes them more then just a team, like...

G.I. Combat #3 1

THE GOOD: Ariel Olivetti's art work for The War that Time Forgot is amazing. It's very realistic. There is a lot details in the background but it's distant so that the characters still stand out from the back ground. Dan Panosian does a great job on his art duties in The Unknown Soldier. I really like the sketchiness of the work and I think that it makes the story much darker. I also really like the action in this issue as well. The story for The War that Time Forgot continues on with the three ...

Earth 2 #3 0

THE GOOD: The art is fantastic, Nicola Scott really knows how to draw and I've very happy to see her drawing a fairly big series. I really like the way that the characters look; especially Alan Scott while he is burned. She also adds a lot of detail in the pages it's fun just to look around and see what you notice. The story is also a great part. Alan Scott has survived and now he is talking to a green flame. We also get to see Hawkgirl and Jay Garrick fight a little. I really like the way that ...

Dial H #3 2

THE GOOD: Mateus Santolouco is an amazing artist and I'm glad that he is on a book like this. His whole style just defines the book with a tone and a feeling that is something I hope stays in the book for a long while. The backgrounds are consistent and the expressions are telling. He also draws actions scenes very well. The story is very complex and will probably require a few read through to completely grasp that whole meaning in this issue. We get to see Manteau save Nelson and introduce him ...

Animal Man #11 2

THE GOOD: Alberto Ponticelli is the penciler in this issue. I really like the way that he draws Buddy and all the different forms that he takes in this issue. He also manages to continue this ever dark feeling that all the other pencilers have contributed. I also really like his facial expressions. They add a lot to the story and the characters. I think that this issue, is huge. We get to see Buddy be recreated by the Red so that he can go back and fight. I really liked that part and I really li...

Teen Titans #10 2

THE GOOD: I really like Brett Booth's artwork. I'm glad that they are on an island with dinosaurs because he really knows how to draw those two things. I really like how the characters show emotion. I really like seeing them happy after 9 issues of them being miserable and his art just conveys that. The story is more talking then anything else, but I'm cool with that. I'm really liking the characterization of all the characters and it makes reading the issues much funner. I'm also really startin...

Justice League Dark #10 1

THE GOOD: Mikel Janin is an amazing artist. I really like the whole tone that he contributes to the book. The backgrounds that he draws look dark and dangerous. With the characters, the stand out from the background but I think that is a good thing. I especially like the House of Mystery design. The story continues from 9, but expanded the involvement of Felix Faust. Jeff Lemire is also creating a lot of conflict between the characters and given with the current plot, that is going to be an inte...

Justice League #10 0

THE GOOD: Jim Lee is drawing this issue so everyone should know that there is going to be tons of details. I really like the way he draws the characters on this series. He makes them look so godlike that it's amazing. He also manages to draw the characters like they are in pain and it looks amazing. The story is simple I think. We are getting the origin of the new villain Graves. I like this story because I feel that the origin is interesting. I also think that him knowing a lot about the heroes...

Talia: Year One 0

THE GOOD: Chris Burnham is on art duties and I really like the way everything looks in this issue. There is plenty of detail on the pages but not too much. The action is fluid. The most important thing is that the characters convey strong emotions in this issue. There are also some nice homages. The story is very complex to me. Grant Morrison is visiting the origin of Talia, and Damian and it's a very interesting issue. I really like the characterization of Talia in this issue. She is a bad guy,...

Review: Red Hood and the Outlaws #10 0

THE GOOD: I really like Kenneth Rocafort's art. I think that his style is just amazing and I wish that he would stay on this book forever. I also liek the way the panels look. Instead of making them squares, he has fun with it and makes them look like squares with a lot of turns and other square on it. The expressions are also really good. I think the story is pretty good here as well. I really like seeing Starfire really stepping into the light. This is also the first time that I have enjoyed t...

Review: Nightwing #10 0

THE GOOD: There are two artist on this book but it's not that noticeable. I really like seeing how Dick Grayson moves and in this issue we get to see him jump from a window and I think that it really cool to see him being acrobatic. I also really like the expressions in this issue as well. The story is amazing. Kyle Higgins is putting Nightwing into a new direction and I think that it's the right one. We get to see Dick trying to bring some hope into Gotham as well as figure out what is going on...

Review: Batwoman #10 0

THE GOOD: Trevor McCarthy is an amazing artist and I really like what he brings to this book. I really like the way the characters show emotion and the action is very fluid. He does his best at imitating J.H. Williams III unique style of paneling and he mostly succeeds. I also really like the way his backgrounds look in this issue. The story is okay. We get to see Batwoman fighting this group that she has been fighting for a while now. I really like seeing Batwoman looking to see if her ex sidek...

Review: Birds of Prey #10 2

THE GOOD: Travel Foreman is an amazing artist and this issue is no exception. I really like the way the characters have a special look. They all have a quality to them. I also really like the way that he draws the background in this issue and I think that is important considering the setting of this issue. The story is amazing as well. Unlike other series, this shows you what happens right after the Night of Owls crossover. I really like the team splitting up and I really think that there was a ...

Review: Legion of Super-Heroes #10 0

THE GOOD: There are two artist on the book. They are extremely different but I really like what both of them do. I think that Francis Portela is more clean and Andres Guinaldo is a little more sketchy. I like the way that Cosmic Boy looks at the beginning and I think that all the characters look really good in this issue. The story is getting much more complex then what it was in past issues. I really like how Paul Levitz is turning it into something political in this issue. I think that it is i...

Review: Godzilla #2 0

THE GOOD: The art is fantastic in this issue. Simon Gane has a very unique style and there are few other artist that I would want on this book. I really like the amount of detail he adds in all the panels. It feels very real also. I also really like the way his characters can show facial expressions. The story is amazing. Like Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters; this writer is showing how the modern world would react to these situations and he pulls it off 10 times better. I also think that Duane has...

Review: Wonder Woman #10 0

THE GOOD: I really like that art in this issue. There are two artist on this and they both are great and are similar you hardly notice a change in the art halfway through the book. I really like the way both Tony Akins and Kano draw the action and the characters in this issue as well. There is also a lot of facial expressions that I though were great. The story is continuing off where the last one left off and we get a lot of action, character development, and a very cool ending. I really like D...

THE GOOD: Doug Mahnke does an amazing job on this series. I really like how much detail is in the backgrounds. I also like the facial expressions that are in this issue. I really like the way the aliens look because they all look different and I think that gives you a feeling that the universe is much larger. I really like the story this month. The Move this Time 0

THE GOOD: I really like Ian Churchill's art. I think that it is very clean but has a sketchy feeling to it that makes me like it a lot more. I also really like the amount of details he adds to the book in the backgrounds. There is also a lot of facial expressions that I think all comics need to make the whole story feel convincing. I really like the story here even though it's extremely simple. They are still being tracked down my Harvest. I really like that we are seeing Harvest move on in this...

Suicide Squad #10 3

THE GOOD: I really like the art in this issue. Fernando Dagnino provides the art and he knows how to draw these characters. He also manages to make everything look interesting. I also really like the colors in this series. It manages to make the whole book be much darker and I think that is what a title like this needs. The story is amazing. They are on the trail of people robbing Gendreon and the team is suppose to get the ransomer back to Amanda Waller. Well things don't go right and some amaz...

Rising Above 2

THE GOOD: I really like the art in this issue. Alitha Martinez is the artist but it looks fairly similar to the previous artist on the series with the same feeling. I really like the facial expressions in this issue. You can see that all the characters are feeling something when they do what they do. I really like the story in this issue. It's picking up. I like it how Batgirl really thinks that she may be being mean to the people that she bust. I like it that she has a sympathetic feeling for t...

Lost By The Culling 0

THE GOOD: I really like Pete Woods art. I really like how all the characters look and I think that he draws backgrounds very well. They are filled with details that will keep you look at panels for a while to see if you can see everything that he has planed in there. The story is okay. We get to see them travel back in time and find out something happened. This is an interesting concept that I like. I also really like that they are going back to New York because I liked the few issues that took ...

The Court Revealed 0

THE GOOD: Greg Capullo is an amazing artist and I think that him being on Batman was an amazing choice on DC's part. I really like the facial expressions. I also really like how he finds very creative way to look at things. He never does just a straight up shot, he likes to have fun with it. The story is amazing. We get to find out a whole bunch about the Court of Owls and the Wayne Family. Now, there are probably a lot of spoilers so I'll try to avoid them. We get to see who is basically behind...

THE GOOD; I really like the art of Kevin Maguire. I really like his art and I wish that he was the full artist on the book. THE GOOD: I love the art in this issue. There is different artist and it's a very different style, but I really like it. Francesco Francavilla is an amazing artist and he can make things look very creepy. I love the opening and it definitely sets the tone for the whole issue. I also really like the colors in this issue as well. The story is as good as they come. We get to see Swamp Thing and Abby and it's really sweet but things quickly get dark and bloody. The story is good to me. I really like seeing                                                    that they are all growing to be different characters. THE GOOD: Nicola Scott, it's good to have to her back and drawing a regular series. She adds so much detail into the pages that you spend a lot of time just looking for cool things in the background. I really like how she draws Jay's speed in this issue because I like seeing him progress like that and not just lighting lines. The story is setting up characters in this issue. Red, Green, and Rot 1

THE GOOD: Steve Pugh does a great job at following in Travel Foreman's footsteps in this book. His style is similar and there are only a few differences between the first few issues, and this current one. I really like the amount of facial expression is in this issue. The characters feel like they are reacting to everything they are hearing. The story is still continuing on from the past issues of Animal Man. Rot from the Past 0

THE GOOD: The art in this issue is decent. Timothy Green II does a great job at copying Travel Foreman's style from the beginning of the series. He also adds the amazing paneling from the current Swamp Thing series. I also really like how he is very good at making sure things are where they were the next time you see them. The story is amazing. Jeff Lemire manages to introduce you to new characters in a different time, with a similar situation. The results are an amazing story with a lot of emot...

THE GOOD: I really like the art in this issue. Ian Churchill is a new name for me but I can easily see that I am going to enjoy seeing his work on the things he does. He adds a lot of details and I really like the character expressions. I see characters showing emotion in the background in this issue. The story is better then the crossover itself.
