I spoiler alert my comments for precaution:

Wells is probably the equilavent of Professor Zoom while Eddie is the equilavent of Zoom.

I think the RF we are seeing is future Eddie while Wells was probably the one who killed Nora Allen, Wells stayed to make sure The Flash will happen and lost his speed during the explosion that gave flash his powers.

I really think all those retcons Marvel does for looking more like the MCCU are for nothing. Casual viewers are never gonna be casual readers and the ones who will don't care for their comics to be exactly like the movies.

I have dropped Marvel for quite a while and I am happy with this, completely lack of respect.

Well, Johns had to clean up after Lobdell :P set a supporting cast and direction, Pak had already done that. Now I am not disagreeing that Johns doesn't have a slow pace, he does and it is annoyingly slow but Johns has to do world building from the ground up same as Pak in his first arc. If you truly want to compare take Pak's first arc and you will see that Pak's first five issues were exactly the same style. And Pak has already done his world building for this arc in Doomed. Plus Johns goes for a more personal more emotional experience in my opinion just as you said. But I do disagree that the development is the same since Pak is building since Doomed(Lana's story, Smallville in coma etc), he has intorduced his cast in previous arcs already. And if you see some plot elements haven't been touched since the Doomed aftermath (ex. Clark's new view on the world), Johns is still setting the status quo, Pak is telling a story. Thats why maybe you think Johns is more slowpaced but the way I see it both are very slowpaced currently.

I bet that hammer is meant to be Thor's.
