There are several times that he abandoned Venom due to it's addictive qualities and was still a great fighter (Most notably Secret Six) So yes, he is absolutely as skilled as made out to be.
No, I just wanted them to actually have Venom in the movie seeing as that is one of Bane's significant qualities. And when I say significant, I mean ABSOLUTLEY NECCESARY! Don't tell me Nolan couldn't fit a super-steroid into his "real-world" Gotham. If he can include Fear Toxin, he can sure as hell include Venom. And since when is Bane a white guy?
Now I want to start this off by saying I don't hate Young Justice its just this once episode "Drop Zone" bothered me by portraying Bane one my favorite characters as a two bit hispanic drug dealer. I mean Bane is supposed to be a strategic genius capable of going toe to toe with Batman both physically and mentally he is not a petty drug dealer who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. They display him as this lame easily beatable idiot who is unable to understand that Kid Flash is fast enough to swipe a detonator from his hand then gets his ass kicked easily not to mention this happens three other times in the episode once when he evens has his venom. I mean I'm not even going to discuss his horrible face paint or the inaccurate portrayal as hispanic. The whole episode he is nothing but an incompetent moron peddling his own venom for junkies to get high on which also doesn't even begin to make sense. I just wanted to know what other fans of Bane have to think about this and if your a diehard fan like me I'd love to discuss this with you. Note: Please don't respond to this saying he is hispanic because he's not and that's a whole different debate and this is a not a topic about races and i'm leaving it at that.
Never watched Young Justice, but this portrayal outrages me. Remind me never to watch this stupid show.
I loved it. I thought it was even better than Ledger's Joker. That said, I feel like he wasn't playing Bane so much as another great villain, and I would have liked to see a portrayal more accurate to comic book Bane. Still, great performance nonetheless.
stop the madness! why did they kill him even when they knew his abillity, someday this guy will comeback too powerfull for anyone on earth to handle. why didn't they just look for a way to trap him somehow, instead of killing him, how come nobody ever thought of this before.
The fear of Doomsday probably made them irrational. They just wanted to be rid of him, and the only way they could do this (In their mind at least) was to kill him
