With only 8 days until Fox's incredible new series Gotham premieres, what famous batman characters, or even lesser-known Batman characters would you like to see appear in an episode of Gotham? Personally, I'd like to see a truly twisted Joker as long as it would make sense that he'd be at an age to be able to be Batman's greatest foe later on or even a young adult Bane participating in a fight club in Gotham while using the deadly venom drug. Feel free to comment below with who you'd like to see! :)

Under the Red Hood for sure. The beginning and ending packed pretty big emotional punches and everything in between was great and filled with plenty of awesome caped crusader action.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I thought it was the best film Marvel Studios has made so far because the action was great, all of the scenes were visually stunning, and the storyline surprised me by being so much more than I expected. There were so many twist and turns. The movie felt like a comic book movie and an '80s political thriller and it was a really awesome feeling knowing how much this was going to affect the MCU and how epic it felt seeing Cap go up against this bigger than imagined threat with only a small group of allies. If Marvel Studios has the same combination of all these different elements (action, twists and turns in a surprising storyline, and awesome characters) then either Guardians of the Galaxy or Avengers:Age of Ultron might be my new favorite Marvel Studios movie! :)

So, the first Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer was released today and from it this is my theory of how the movie's events will unfold.

  • The movie will begin with a flashback to Peter's parents and what happened before their plane crash.
  • Then there is the Rhino's(without his suit) heist on Oscorp to steal some sort of chemical, with Spider-Man stopping him, while saving Max Dillon in the process.
  • Peter is surprised when he is reunited with Harry Osborn, who says that there is something he needs to tell him, that Oscorp is video surveilling him secretly, suggesting he is an Oscorp experiment
  • Peter asks his Aunt May the truth about his parents and she tells him where to look where Peter finds his Dad's old lab in an old subway tunnel which holds secrets about Oscorp, one of them being that Oscorp arranged for Richard and Mary Parker to be killed.
  • Meanwhile, Max Dillon grows more obsessed with Spider-Man until he realizes that Spider-Man has not said anything to him since the beginning of the movie. Feeling ignored like he has his entire life, Max is electrocuted by a staged Oscorp experiment to create a super-powered individual like himself. They keep him in custody and examine the changes made to him, making him angrier.
  • Harry visits his ill dad and it is revealed that Norman wants Harry to take care of Peter and monitor him since he is also an experiment of Oscorp then.
  • Meanwhile, the Rhino is given a suit by Oscorp(with some russian symbols on it since the Rhino is russian) to take down Spider-Man, but Spider-Man takes him down with some difficulty.Peter realizes that the suit was made by Oscorp and goes to investigate
  • After this, Peter visits Oscorp and finds Max Dillon being studied by Oscorp against his will.
  • He breaks free, wounding Harry,as well as his girlfriend Felicia Hardy, and escapes into the night. He becomes convinced that Norman is the reason he is this way and goes to hunt him down.
  • Harry rushes to the Oscorp mansion to see if his father is ok, only to see that he has passed away from his illness.
  • Harry deciding that he can change the world as CEO of Oscorp, rushes back to Oscorp and injects himself with a super-soldier formula made from both Spider-Man,Lizard's, and another unknown person's DNA, dons an exo-suit, gets on a glider and flies off into the night swearing revenge on Electro.
  • Meanwhile, while trying to make his way to the Oscorp mansion, Electro is hit by a truck in Times Square and is revealed to the New Yorkers. They start to call him a freak and throw numerous objects at him.Electro loses it and attacks the civilians. Spider-Man shows up on the scene and throws down in a huge battle with him that he starts to lose until Harry shows up and blows Electro up.Electro secretly escapes through a power line and begins to plot his revenge and to make a world without Spider-Man.
  • Peter takes down Harry in times square believing him to be another one of Oscorp's unleashed experiments.Harry recognizes Peter and is surprised and feels betrayed by his best friend.Peter recognizes Harry as well and tries to stop him from escaping, but fails.
  • Electro goes to Oscorp, dons a rubber suit that contains him, and tries to drain the electricity from a power plant.Spider-Man arrives and stops him, but he escapes, with Spider-Man thinking that he is dead.
  • Meanwhile, Harry, feeling betrayed by Peter, goes insane and kidnaps Gwen and takes her to A World of Tomorrow section of Oscorp where a real-life sized city model is shown with what Oscorp has planned for it.Peter arrives and defeats Harry but Gwen is hit off of one of the almost life-sized sculptures, an Oscorp version of the Brooklyn Bridge. Peter and Harry both try to save her and Peter shoots his infamous web-line which accidentally snaps her neck.
  • Peter is in shock and as the glider flies in to kill Peter as he mourns Gwen, Harry jumps in front of it and dies. Peter mourns the losses of both of his longtime friends and blames himself and ultimately Oscorp, vowing that he will stop the plans that they have for the world.
  • In a post-credits scene, Norman Osborn is revealed to have faked his death and is now healing with the use of the same "goblin" serum that Harry used. He is revealed to be the figure from the post-credits scene of the first film and he is shown visiting a secret section of Oscorp, and walks past vulture and doc ock harnesses. He is shown keeping surveillance on Curt Conners and an incapacitated Electro as well as Rhino. He looks over at a modified goblin suit and smiles opening the passageway to a goblin lair with the keywords Sinister Six.

So, all in all, this how I think the movie's events will unfold.I'm pretty sure that most of this is wrong but who knows?Besides, you have to admit that last part would be an incredibly awesome post-credits scene! Anyways, please comment on your thoughts and your theories about the movie! :)

Hey Comic Vine Community! After watching a lot of Arrow on the CW lately I've decided to give a Green Arrow a chance. Are there any key issues(preferably single not collected) that I should read?I already plan on giving the TV-based comic book a try but are there any others that any of you would recommend? Thanks. :)

I liked Kick-Ass 2.There I said it.A lot of people would disagree though and call the second installment in the real life superhero series vulgar, too violent, and played for shock value most of the time.In my opinion Kick Ass 2 is just as good as the first installment and here's why:

When Mark Millar's Kick Ass first came out a lot of comic book fans loved it.Why? Because it was about a concept that most of us have thought about at least once throughout our lives:what would it be like to become a superhero in real life? And Millar gave us that fantasy and put it as realistically as he could into the pages.Things like Dave getting almost killed during his first encounter was an example of what would most likely happen to any person that went out and tried this, but Millar went beyond that creating new heroes with makeshift costumes and people who were honestly trying to be like superheroes. The story was probably as realistic as it could be(with a few bumps in the road),and that's why we liked it so much. Then, when Kick Ass 2 came out we were all excited and ready for another realistic portrayal of superheroes in real life. And that's exactly what we got,not a comic playing for shock value, and a lot of fans didn't like that.I think though that realistically life isn't like how comic books and comic book movies end and that's exactly what Millar was trying to show.If you go out there and become a superhero and inspire this wave of good superheroes, you're going to get bad super villains too who like the Mother$%^&** isn't going to just kidnap your girlfriend or your dad or let the police know ahead of time that times square is going to be attacked unless if they give him a million dollars within one hour. No,in real life villains are going to do whatever they want no matter how absurd it is and that's exactly what happened in Kick Ass 2.The police in real life wouldn't accept vigilantes which is exactly why Hit-Girl was sent to prison even though she was a major part in stopping the chaos within Times Square. If a person falls off of a roof they're not going to walk away from it with a few bruises like in the comic books, they're going to be critically injured.Kick Ass 2 was supposed to be a realistic portrayal of what would happen after something like the first installment then and in my opinion Millar followed through.Kick Ass 3 is also following through on the realistic aspect of the series.Another thing that I think is cool and that I would like to point out is that when you look at it from a wide perspective Kick Ass is very similar to the Batman trilogy. In Batman Begins, Batman started out with no one taking him seriously but as he took down more and more criminals, thugs, and gangsters people started to recognize him more and more until by the end of the story everyone knew his name just like Kick Ass.In The Dark Knight, Batman was given a villain who was all about chaos and causing it wherever he went and damaged Batman both mentally and physically which is like what what basically happened to Kick Ass in the second installment. Now I look at Kick Ass 3 as The Dark Knight Rises since Dave's trying to make a comeback from this big defeat at the end of the second installment by trying to put Justice Forever back together while a new villain who wants to take over his city in starting to enter the events of the story.Anyways that's just my two cents. Thanks for reading and comment your thoughts below! :)
