May "Mayday" Parker was only 15 years old when she discovered that she had inherited her spider-powers from her father, the legendary hero known as the Amazing Spider-Man. When Normie Osborn, grandson of the original Green Goblin targeted her family, she donned her "Uncle Ben's" costume in order to combat him. While initially resisted, her parents eventually relent and allow her to carry on the tradition of the webs. From that day forward, she was the Spectacular Spider-Girl.
