Team Mission Statement:
Supernatural Private Investigations (or SPI for short) is a detective agency that goes above and beyond what the law can handle. Vampires, werewolves, ghouls, cults, zombies, whatever it is to do with the supernatural or paranormal they are on the case!
SPI Headquarters:
SPI's current headquarters is a Gothic Church, located in the outskirts of a small town in the New Orleans Area. It was the site of their first unofficial job, accidentally working together due to a client randomly hiring people he thought could help in his dire situation. The
Church was formerly used as a base by an undead preacher, who lived back in the Civil War era. The preacher was a member of the cult of the Black Hand, and was mind-controlling the residents of the small town to be used as workers. The team dealt with the preacher, saving the town's residents from their controller. The town being grateful volunteered to aid the group, knowing how to manage the church as a base. The church had long been refurbished on the inside, and filled with supplies. It's gargoyle guards, fueled by magic, guard the place and it's owners. As the last owner being dead, they now see the group as the owners of the building and go by their orders. The workers formerly under Black Hand control now maintain the base, living at their homes in the small town. The church has long been desecrated by it's former residents, and has no effects of average Holy land.

Occupation: She has served in the military, FBI, and police force. A retired FBI agent she does freelance detective work to pay the bills. She uses her powers sparingly, doesn't like for others to see but they have saved her countless times. The FBI kept her powers and immortality top secret and had her take on cases involving the supernatural and paranormal. She still has access to FBI files, and refers to herself as Agent Sherman.

Abilities:
- Novice Necromancy- Nick is a modernized Necromancer. His known abilities aren't the best in the world, as on normal circumstances he can only reanimate up to two corpses at a time, and these spells only last for about twenty minutes. The one exception is Tony, the severed head he carries around with him, which is highly unique.
- Taste Testing- He has yet to come up with a better term for it. One of the abilities he's inherited is the ability to learn an item's story by tasting it.
- Body jumping- Nick, when given enough preparation, can jump into another person's body. This affect is only partial, however. Nick has no control of said person's body, and can only speak to them (in their thoughts) and see through their eyes. He has yet to try this on anything other than his former partner and reanimated corpses.
- Detective skills- Even before becoming mystically entwined, Nick was a amazing detective.
Occupation: After some few years as a Detective, he eventually found out about his father's acts through his old journals, which he inherited when his uncle mysteriously died. Nick, who's mole in the mafia, Tony, had just died, wanted to use his heritage to it's full affect. He, through the journals, learned every odd thing about himself, and learned basic magic. Using a random spell from one of his father's journals, he reanimated Tony. Though at first Tony was a bit shocked, he eventually managed to give Nick the information he needed to lock his killers in prison. Now Nick wanders the world with Tony as a private detective, mostly dabbling in the paranormal.

The Reluctant Reaper
Name: Michael Thorne
Alias: Skel, Mike

Origin of Powers: Curse
Abilities:
- Intangibility: Skel can become intangible at will, easily walking through solid objects.
- ‘Regeneration’: Not regeneration in the traditional sense, but Skel can make his bones repair themselves. For instance, if an arm was blown off, it would fly back and re-attach itself.
- Teleportation/Portals: Mostly used for long distances, Michael can teleport. At long-range, he simply opens a portal, but at short-range he can rapidly teleport from spot to spot.
- Rot-Touch: Michael causes things to rapidly decay upon touching them with his bones. Prolonged contact can cause things to rot to the point of turning to dust. The same would apply if he were to walk on a surface without wearing shoes.
- Soul Removal: Skel has been granted the ability to remove the soul from a dead body. He has yet to attempt it on a living person.
- Necrovision: A unique type of sight that has been granted to him. It works much like the vision filter equipment spec ops use, except with an added bonus. He can see into higher planes, including the afterlife. So while normal humans cannot see a ghost, he can see them just fine.
- Re-Animation: As he is technically a reaper, he can also ward death away, and force a soul back into a body. Though the body begins to decay if he isn't around to keep it in decent repair.
Skills/Abilities:
- Investigative Skills: As he was a former detective (and a very successful one at that), he’s got a considerable talent for investigation.
- “Enhanced Interrogation”: Although he doesn’t usually enjoy it, Michael has an impressive repertoire of torture skills.
Occupation: Used to be a detective when he was alive. Now he’s a reaper, of sorts. Skel is supposed to collect dead souls and usher them into the afterlife. But, considering he’s still not happy with his situation.. he’s more or less refusing to comply.

The "Frankenstein" Monster Bounty Hunter

- "Adaptable limb replacement": Perhaps Ash's most unique power, if he is to lose a body part and not be able to recover it, he can take the same limb from any human being and staple it to his body. Once attached it will mutate and grow to fit the rest of his body and strength.
- Walking battery": Ash has electric conducting bolts on his neck, shoulders and back, once these take in an electric current he will become ten times stronger and his wounds will heal five times faster, he also emits large currents of electricity when in this form, though it only lasts a short time for he will combust if charged for to long.
Occupation: Ash Walmer was once the chosen champion to defend the necronomicon, but to his misfortune he was slaughtered and butchered by an unknown person, the evil scientist, Dr.Stahl collected his remains and turned him into a walking corpse of dark science. Once back from the dead, the experience changed him, turning him into that of a sick and twisted individual. He now follows his own moral code, often looking out for himself and does as he pleases.

Origin of Powers: He just started to get the hang of crime and networking at a young age.
Abilities:
- Thaumaturge - He is a magician. Though this gives him a plethora of capabilities (within bounds), he specializes in channeling his prana through objects, such as cards, so that they take on various effects when certain conditions are met. Still somewhat of a beginner, oftentimes when he tries to use certain kinds of spells, more advanced, they may have unintended, unpredictable effects, such as backfiring and causing harm. His energy comes from himself, and he must rest to recharge his prana.
- Hypnotism - If anyone were to gaze directly into his eyes, they could become susceptible to his influence. This would include controlling the person's actions, or causing them to feel a wide range of emotions, such as a deep love or an intense fear.
- ESP - Has the ability to sense energy signatures and other things of mystic origin in an area
Skills:
- He is very handy and is skilled with tools and technology.
- He has learned to use many different types of weapons.
- He is an excellent athlete, having great speed and agility, and can even deal out good damage, but he is a pushover when it comes to taking punishment. He is persnickety and will most often try to put distance between himself and opponents and pursuers while wearing them down.

Occupation: A young con man. He works for hire, for those who know who he is and how to find him, or entirely of his own agenda. He has spent his years, since his early teens, building a lengthy network or connections and informants all over the world, having traveled various places. He poses at various jobs, but is actually a master thief, counterfeiter, smuggler and black market fence. He formerly worked as a magician at a circus before it was shut down.

Origin of Powers: Side effect from an operation as a child.
Abilities:
- Vasokinesis: Alex has developed various abilities surrounding blood, plasma, and various other systems of his body that are related to these; chiefly among these is his control over the production and distribution of the blood in his body. Alex is able to prevent open wounds from bleeding, hold his breath for extended periods of time, and "breath through his skin" in much the same way a plant draws in nutrients from the soil.In addition, Alex is capable of "pumping up" his muscles to temporarily increase his strength and of hardening his bone marrow to increase his durability. This also allows him to manipulate his bone density, and thus his overall mass or the mass of particular parts of his body.A skill that he has been consciously developing over the years is his ability to create constructs out of his own blood. By solidifying it, Alex is learning to create super hard objects that he can use for a variety of purposes.
- Blood Reading:Another possible side effect of the operation is Alex's abilities to view the organisms around him in terms of their blood flow. This ability has approximately a fifty foot radius of effectiveness, with it becoming less vivid the farther away a creature is.
Occupation: Alex is a young man that has done his best to deal with his powers and use them for good. Though he lacks any formal training, Alexander has been in numerous street fights over the course of his short life. Through these he has learned how to defend himself from multiple opponents, the best way to minimize damage from an attack, and how to use a variety of weapons, ranging from switch blades to lead pipes, in effective ways. He continues to train, knowing that heroism is his true calling, he will never back down.
Creature Features:
Tony: Cadaver's Partner
Tony is the reanimated severed head Nick carries around with him (usually in a sack). Tony was, before becoming deceased, a member of the mafia. He never did any big crimes, he was mostly told to stand there and look tough. He actually worked as a mole for some point, leading to his death. Nick was covering the case surrounding his death and, after discovering his father's secrets, reanimated Tony by accident. Tony, as of now, aids in Nick's paranormal research. Tony can hear, see, and feel things humans cannot. He can see things like ghosts, and hear them like an EVP device. He, though he doesn't feel like it, is indestructible. One could stomp on him all they without causing any permanent damage, though he would feel the pain of it and get a headache. He is a smarta$$ and will insult people often. He's been known to bite as well.
Rot-Face: Skel's Canine Companion
An undead hound that Michael resurrected to keep him company. It is incapable of being killed and regenerates from almost all wounds, yet oddly seems to maintain its standard rotten state.
The Misery Machine: Ash's Prime Means of Transportion and Destruction
Ash literally sold his soul for this fine space chopper, highly durable and armed to the teeth. The misery machine can be summoned by mere thought and can be sentient if it is commanded to do so. It's loud and it packs a punch for anything in it's path.
