I'm getting tired of arguing this point all you seem to say is somehow Strange is supposed to overcome such a ridiculous deficit in because he's Strange and showed off some hyperbolic statement in a fight against an opponent nowhere near Zoom's level. And now he's supposed to get the drop on him somehow, because basically 'He's Dr. Strange'... If you can actually bring something to the table here to discuss about how Strange is supposed to win I'll be happy to see it. Otherwise we've reached an impasse; you're either unwilling or unable to provide anything in the context of the paramaters that would be applicable to this situation and I'm tired of repeating myself and having my points glossed over.

So I think we're done here.

You're talking about Classic Strange feats; power levels he hasn't exhibited in decades and he had prep time for most of those big feats; he doesn't have it here. He can't attack Zoom before Zoom has hit him; I don't see the logic, there is no reason why Zoom doesn't take out the entire team in a picosecond.

Using a feat against Hulk who's combat speed shouldn't even be mentioned in contention with Zoom's is a non sequitur. Before Strange thinks to move to his astral form he's out of the fight. How is he supposed to do anything before he's blitzed by Zoom?

@batmanfanboy: Okay let me tell you: Character statements about power levels are next to worthless here; that proves absolutely nothing. Current Strange at the time of OP wasn't Sorcerer Supreme he didn't have access to those powers. Classic Strange feats are likewise exempt.

Strange is out of his depth; he's never dealt with anyone even romotelly as quick as Zoom; he seemingly has no counter and unless he can react faster than a picosecond to freeze time to even get onto Zoom's level he looses as well.

Which bring us right back to where 99% of the people in this thread said would happen. Zoom solos.
