Personally I'd like the Black Widow to vanish with Winter Soldier, and MJ to become the new Widow. Her and Agent Venom should then team up and it would be more amazing if neither knew whom the other was.

So no I don't think MJ needs powers, but I would like the whole her just being the beautiful girl of Peter's dreams to be over with. And it could be interesting to see MJ become a super spy while all the while pulling a normal life out of a hat.

The obsession with Kade Kilgore is misplaced. I understand that the writer created the kid, but it's a laughable villain. A 12 year old with a hard-on for violence against mutants? It's not scary! Why are we meant to be scared of someone who hasn't even started puberty? No matter how many stupid hair-brained schemes he comes up with, he's still just a dumb kid that would die if Apocalypse so much as farted in his general direction. Other than that... I really am surprised with how mcuh I enjoyed this issue.

Actually to be honest I think he's a kid with a hard-on for the profits he can make from pimping out the fear and loathing of mutants for his own benefit. That's not to say that I like the character or even think he's a good villain ( actually I think time will tell on that matter personally ) but I think it's less about the violence and more about the perhaps cliche yet ever valued "money, power, and respect" oh and of course his (not to mention the rest of the "Hellfire Club")'s parent and familial issues. (i.e. I'm the best and brightest of my family. Aren't I grand. Better than my parents and I'm a kid too.)

I am looking forward to Sinister reemerging as a major threat. I hope the writers do not allow him to be defeated, only stopped on a specific objective. For me Sinister is at his best when he is the man in the shadows pulling the strings from affar with limited direct contact with the heroes. What can ruin villians in comics is when they are too easily defeated by the heroes but keep coming back again and again and become a joke or even a running gag within the title, kind of like Toad has become, though he was never a major threat.

I think this was Sabertooth's main problem. He was a menacing and often times scary X-Villain in the beginning and as Wolverine became more popular they had to tone down how much he struggled for a victory against Creed. To the point that everyone is like "Oh, Sabertooth again. Hey Wolverine can you punch this guy once and we can all go home..."

What has happened to Sabretooth?? I haven't read anything with him in a while, but he used to have superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability, and endurance. Not to mention razor sharp claws, a healing factor, superhuman senses and great fighting ability. Based on abilities (what they were don't know now) and not some story where because he's the bad guy he has to lose, he should give Cap a real run for his money and be too much for DD to handle.

He also did have a adamantium skeleton; it was taken away, and then given back. Can't say it's status as of the time of his death. But it was given back again even after Apoc took it.

I'm not sure where his power level is these days, but theoretically he's Hope only without all the fainting. XD

First off I have to ask that if Aquaman is capable of all this manipulation of things that have evolved from sea life, why isn't he the undisputed king of the world? Not to mention why does he have trouble with Black Manta ever? Why does Aquaman ever lose a fight? To be honest that just seems like a one time deal or maybe a power that was considered and then revised later. Also even if it is something he does, has it ever been showed to work at range because we know for a fact that Storm's powers work at a distance.

I find is sort of disconcerting that Storm was instantly discounted in this fight. Namor may be more powerful than her physically, but that's not what a battle is about. It's not arm wrestling. As for Aquaman and Namor both they can win this maybe easier than Storm could, but her only power offensively being lightning is sort of crazy talk.

Storm's control of the atmosphere. And by default lungs.

Now while Namor and Aquaman both my be resistant to extremes because they are both aquatic lifeforms that are designed for take the pressure and temperatures of the deep ocean; that's not to say they are immune. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not even a big Storm fan myself, but I know better than to underestimate one of the stronger X-men.
