Yay! We get to celebrate marvel's 100th a few years early. I like this concept!

I don't think I'm complaining enough...

Am I the only one surprised that this thread still exists?

@w0nd: Exactly. The way they worded it in the movie just sounded dumb and uninspiring, unlike the classic line which makes sense and is iconic. There was no reason to change it and the fact that they did was something that will always bug me about the movie.

Uninspiring!!! That's the word I was looking for...

I feel... cheated by this.

The reason Hank Pym wasn't in the Avengers was because of Edgar Wright. The reason Hank Pym is an old man and Scott Lang will be the focus of the film was because of Edgar Wright. The reason Ultron was created by Stark instead of Pym was because of Edgar Wright...

I was okay with all of this because Wright is amazing and Marvel hasn't let me down yet. Now, this announcement makes me think that we could've had Hank Pym in the Avengers. Hank Pym could've been young and the focus of his own film. Pym could've created Ultron.

@fallschirmjager: Well, they are copying... they started with the origins. I see no problem with them saying the phrase again.

@timelordscience: I actually kind of loved the soundtrack.

I could see them making this whole trilogy about Peter lesson of power and responsibility and ending it with him quoting the classic line, having finally understanding what his uncle was trying to tech him way back in ASM1. To me that would be a more fitting way to inject that line into the movies, while also showing what it means to have "great power and responsibility."

That's actually an awesome idea I had not thought of. Still, I would prefer for someone to teach it to him rather than him having to come to the point of realizing it. Would be a nice save though.

@wildcats25: It's totally acceptable. You are welcomed to post your comics and collaborate with other users to make them. You can post them here or on Fan-Fic.

Just remember you can't profit from it here.
