An amazing article and enjoyed it thoroughly. You pin pointed some of the problems with the comic to film relations, but MyNameWasDeleted nailed it on why we've watched Hollywood spin turds out of gold bars, when it comes to the comics to film medium.

Sadly do to yet another setback, that being Dc's announcement of Superman Vs Batman as their next venture; I don't see much of this happening. They've dropped the ball once again even made more scary by the rumors of looking to cast an older Batman to possibly mentor Superman. In a fit to catch up with and even pass Marvel's movie franchising Dc is rushing "the play" and could possibly drop the ball. We all know what an amazing job they did with "Green Lantern" and "Jonah Hex". I'll be honest I walked out of The Dark Knight Rises pretty disappointed. But "Man of Steel" made up for all of that actually. It was good enough I felt Dc and WB had done right by me to make up for some of their failures, maybe not enough for Catwoman but moving on. I dreamed of the day I could watch a Justice League movie, and now that day of awe is insight, with a simple fear that things are being rushed. I would have liked to see another Superman movie or two before that happen as well as a Wonder Woman, and Flash film to establish some more of the characters and mythos.

My attention was snatched up right off the back by your request for Lobo. This is "if handled correctly" the move DC and WB has been waiting for. A character that could appear in a Superman movie, then spin off into his own franchise. Dc's greatest Anti Hero and all around universal bad ass deserves a gritty and action packed movie debut. I was horrified when rumors began to circulate that Dwayne Johnson was being looked at to fill the role of the last Czarnian. Mind you not as ill a feeling as I saw the bullet we dodged when WB had brought up the idea of Will Smith playing the part. Lobo is bad assery in it's most primal state... a long haired, cigar smoking, Spazz-Frag riding, heavy metal blasting, para military tactic, ammo flinging alien bounty hunter with a pension for overkill and smart ass comments. This would scream for one of the two following.

Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Stargate Atlantis, Conan the Barbarian)

OR

Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Spiderman, Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia)

Both are well with in the height and size range of what Lobo would require, not to mention both play a gruff, gritty, almost beat of a hero already. I think either of these two would bring so much to an already bad ass character and pull it off well. I mean i can look at either of these two and go "Yeah, that's Lobo.". Manganiello who up for the longest rumors of being Superman himself already stating the fact he'd love to do a comicbook movie, and fancies himself a sci-fi fan. Why not all in one franchise?

My only other thoughts I would throw into this would be possibly Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Startrek Into Darkness, The Hobbit) as Brainac.

Martian Manhunter is coming to Injustice as the fifth playable DLC character, and the first of what people are calling Season 2 Pack of DLC. Along with the Green Lantern skin over of John Stewart. Thoughts? Wishlist or ideas of future DLC or Season hopefuls? Personally I'd love to see a few of the following as coming soon...

Captain Atom, The Creeper, Huntress, Firestorm, Black Lightning, Zatanna, Adam Strange, Etrigan, Klarion

When Hal Jordan went "rogue" and became Parallax, I went with him. I understood the method of madness that drove him down that road. To me that's what makes the difference, the drive or the reason that makes them a villain. The fall from the greatest height is what makes such a great hero turned tyrant. I'd love to see something that leads Shazam to follow the path of Black Adam, like finding out that it was the wizard that failed his mother and father rather then Black Adam who caused their death leading him down that path of destruction rather then Aquaman having had enough of people making fun of his "talking" to fish. I'd like the actually see Batman finally lose his "stuff" and snap, blaming the world and society for his parents and son's death.
