Why do people hate goku.have to keep in mind super saiyan forms simpletons. When he absorbed the dragon balls I believe he became a god, because he has the power of the dragon balls at his will (not saying wishes) his power surpassed superman even in base form. Intelligence I think the dragon balls gave him cosmic awareness. Since the dragon ball were made out of a god that made him like Jesus, the show did say he was earth's savior

I don't think it sucked, it just didn't have alot of action for an action movie.
