They'd better go all scooby-doo with this and make Green Goblin seem like an actual goblin. No more power rangers villains in muh spidey films plz.

As much as I hate to see a good show cancelled, I'd rather carry on not buying useless crap and wait until everyone else gets sick of living in a profit-driven world.

I'll read this because Ultron is one of my favourite villains, possibly my favourite. I have no expectations.

It looks very cheap and tacky. This was a poor review. Just "huh looks cool I guess, kinda bad unless you think it's good."

I always feel like the toy review articles on this site are a step too far anyway, though. We're not that nerdy, are we? Reviews for toys? Come on.

Ok, so I sometimes like seeing the cool toys (@leokearon related), but come on.

I was a lot more optimistic about Superior than most, and I have to say it's even better than I'd hoped. I'd expected to see a lot more of Spidey's old villains getting bafflingly outmatched my the new more ruthless Spidey, or Otto finding out just how hard Pete had it at times against some of the more dangerous psychos in his rogues' gallery, but it's been great looking at all the implications of Otto being the new Spider-Man. I'm still looking forward to more grievous bodily harm afflicting the poor idiots who run into an entirely different spider to the one they're expecting.

@usabfb: The problem is he'd need to take the time to discover that weakness, and then it would be very dificult to exploit effectively given how T'Chala is an extremely skilled combatant. In the meantime, Batman's armour is completely useless against Black Panther's weapons.

The article quite accurately gives Black Panther the advantage in everything but intelligence and skill, and the skill part is very debatable. I'd have said it was completely fair to call them even in terms of skill. Then, on top of that, he's got enhanced physical abilities, much better armour and superior technology.

@ahgunsillyo: I've seen a lot of criticism of this new change, but that's got to be the most hilarious complaint I've yet seen levelled against Spidey-Ock.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only person who actually likes this change. It's not as if Marvel are really expecting us to root for Dr Octopus as a hero; he's still a complete prick, and now it looks like his attitude is going to come back to bite him. There's room or some interesting character development here. Will being confronted with his personality laws drive Ock back to villainy, or will he take another look at himself in a new light?

@Cafeterialoca: Yeah, you have a right to be mad, but not to take it out on other people. Saying you hate other posters because of their character preferences and blaming them for the state of comics is just whiny.

Anyway, don't get too upset. It's just a comic.

And it's all just a dream anyway.

@Cafeterialoca: "Waaah waaah only super serious hardcore fans like me deserve to read comics, everyone else is the reason everything sucks waaah waaah."

@chocobojam: I'm unfamiliar with most of the characters, apart from those from Avengers Academy and Runaways. It sucked seeing Mettle die in the first issue, although it was both in-character for him to sacrifice himself and a good way to illustrate how powerful and dangerous Arcade is now.

I'm interested to find out just how Arcade became this much of threat; he never even had powers before, he just built elaborate death-traps that always completely failed to kill anyone. This is a good new direction for the character, I think; he now has the power to kill whoever he wants with ease, but is so insane and sadistic (as always) that he'd rather kidnap a bunch of kids and force them to kill each other.

I like this book because, despite being little more than a Battle Royal rip off with super powers, it is forcing us to care about all these minor characters nobody's heard of because they actually seem to be in genuine peril, in circumstances where the choices they make really matter. I can picture whoever survives going on to become a major player in the Marvel universe.
