Been reading comics since the early 70's and a huge X-Men fan...I've gotta say this is probably one of the most gorgeous comics I have ever read. Immonen and his team are simply killing it on this series.

Omega Red b/c he is a pure bad-a$$ villain and Sabretooth's character is too easy. He has been killed, cloned, retconned, played the villian and hero and simply convoluted and over-used IMO. I know you can say that about most comic book characters but wanted to give some love to a less obvious choice.

Love it! A step in the right direction.

Great match-up with two heroes with similar skills but I would have to go with the Black Panther for the win.

IMO, X-Men's history always at it's essence, has been about Scott Summers and Xavier. Every good writer of X-Men got that. It is what makes Cyclops killing Xavier so tragic. Shakespeare. Phoenix is also about rebirth...they are getting a second chance. Should make some interesting stories.

jerome opena's work on x-force is equally as stunning. remender and opena's run on the dark angel saga will go down as dare i say...? one of the all-time greatest X title runs ever.

It's comics...they're heroes. With Evan, it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Age old question Nature vs. Nurture. Remender has provided alot of material to be fleshed out. Remender has found his groove.

jcbart: i would suggest you make an exception for SAGA . I had to drop a few books as well, but it is worth it. It is such an exceptional book.
