DC

I only read Marvel when they have something out there that really interests me, so I usually read more Image/Vertigo/etc. than I read Marvel. Marvel NOW might change that, though.

I'd say godlike. Mxy and Bat-Mite destroyed entire universes very easily. At the end they rebuilt everything they had destroyed and resurrected everyone they had killed. The ending even seems to suggest they have done similar stuff more than once.

@MrShway88: Thanks. It took me awhile to decide what I REALLY wanted to put in there, since Batman has a lot of stuff out there.

Well, I don't think there's any comic book that devotes itself entirely to study Bruce's playboy facade, but any good Batman comic book will do.

Well, I don't think it should be too hard to catch up with some of these series.

Earth-2 and Dial H only have 3 issues (not counting the zero issues)

I don't know how safe it is to start reading Stormwatch with issue 0, but I can tell you right away that Green Lantern 0 is a TERRIBLE jumping-on point. A good issue, but a godawful place to start. Both Stormwatch and GL have had 12 issues (and an annual for GL), not to mention their TPBs so it shouldn't be too hard to catch up with those either.
