Bane has a warrior-like respect for Batman. He knew Batman was a formidable opponent and that's why he weakened him and attacked him in his own home. Of course, he was quite relentless, but let's not forget that Bane was high on Venom at the time. It makes sense that he had a newfound respect for Batman after getting rid of his addiction.
Trailers. They're the ones that introduce us to certain movies. One of the deciding factors on whether we'll go see that movie or not.
And much like in everything else, there's better trailers than others. Trailers that are so entertaining, convincing and well put together than you'll see them more than once before the movie comes out.
Some of my favorite trailers would belong to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, especially the ones that used X-Ray Dog's Gothic Power as their soundtrack. But my favorite right now would have to Man of Steel's SDCC trailer. The use of Journey to the Line along with powerful visuals make this a fantastic trailer that I'd love to see in cinemas.
And what about Black Canary or Katana which are two heroes that appear all the time in Bat titles (mainly Birds of Prey and Outsiders) and have a close relationship to Batman and in the case of Katana almost exclusively appears in Bat teams, but are they part of the Bat Family?
Black Canary has much stronger ties with the JLA, JSA and Green Arrow.
I believe the Slab was closed after the massive jailbreak orquestated by Brother Blood during Outsiders.
Joker showed up in Outsiders before the whole Brother Blood thing, so he didn't escape during that jailbreak. But it's been a while since I read Winick's Outsiders, so maybe they did give an explanation.
