Does Superman: E1 take place in the same earth as Batman: E1?

Well, I gave up and bought Superman: Earth One Vol. 2. First of all, I have to say that I had a blast with this GN, much better than the first volume for sure. Plus, we get some creative reinterpretations of certain Superman foes.

But I also noticed something: the answer to whether Superman: Earth One takes place in the same Earth as Batman: Earth One. Because some people have been wondering about this. Well, not anymore, whether it's a yes or no, that answer is here.

Spoilers ahead.

From Lois' article at the end.

Ultimate DCU, anyone?

Yes it does. Wonder Woman: Earth One will take place in that same universe as well.

Yep, and I'm glad it does. Can't wait for these two to meet.

Wonder Woman was going to be written by Grant Morrison, right?

Indeed his only other DC project aside from Multiversity. Though I remember that DC promised Greg Rucka that he could write Wonder Woman: Earth One then handed it over to Morrison. It contributed to Rucka leaving DC for Marvel. I read about it in one of his interviews a while ago.

Really? Wow, that sucks. Not that I'm not looking forward to Morrison's take on WW, but Rucka had a great run on the character and giving him free reign could have been interesting.

Same. And Rucka was one of the writers who had a great run with Wonder Woman and I'd have liked to see a story where Rucka had more options telling the story. No idea who the artist for the title is though.
