I would like to write and draw this book but Quesada aint calling.

So,tell your pick for scribe and art and say why.

I like Grant Morrison's esoteric concepts and creative characterization. I'd hope he'd explore all facets of Inhuman culture and its superhuman citizens. And show the royal family in depth

For art I want Olivier Coipel mainly because he is my fave but also his design sense and characterization is astronomical.

Team Understudy: Warren Ellis/ Frank Quitely for the same reasons as 1st string.

Valiant Paladin says:

"I always felt that the inclusion of John Stewart into the justice league cartoons was really more of an affirmative action move. And in the cartoons, he nowhere near used the ring to it's capabilities. for the longest time the guy didn't do anything but make beams, bubbles, and fly. where's the imagination in that!?"

Well didn't ya know VP? Us black folk ain't gotta lick of creativity to us or willpower for that matter. Those guardians made a poor choice choosing that colored fella, but hey, the blacks would have probably sicced the NAACP on the Guardians.Right?-end satire.

On the real. I agree the writers seem to puposely make John less imagintive. Which is the opposite of my understanding of what a GL should be and what African descendants are.

I wonder what color the people putting John in a lack-luster light are, and why they would do that to their Black lantern. Oops I mean Green Lantern?-end sarcasm

I agree with most all your defenses of the Dark Knight. He is a great character. He just seemed to hyped to me.

I think he has some of the most interesting villains in comics, their contrast with him makes a great dichotomy. But out out of the Gotham microcosm I feel often he aint a heavy hitter.

I think Forge could be great if his mutant tech and mysticism fused and he had a real purpose and direction. SunSpot could be fresh with his silhouette crackly look . Give Archangel energy wings and he would be the ultimate flier. There are tons of things I think could put any number of X-men into my fave spot. And I can't forget the ladykiller Gambit. He strikes me as a dude who grew up around or befriended black folks. His cajun swagger and all.

The Makeshift Man says:

"I liked Maggott's powers, just not how he was written. My favorite X-Man would have to be Bishop, just always liked that character."

Bish is my fave too. His powers are extremely robust and resourceful although they aren't always

written that way. And he has a dynamic and appropriate skill set for what the X-Men do. And his

attitude was coldblooded when he first was introduced in X-Men.I remeber being in 7th or

8th grade when he came out on Uncanny X-Men drawn by Portacio. He had a whole legion of

mutants running in fear of him. Finally a cool powerful and respected/feared black man in the Xmen.

He is not overly aggresive like Wolverine or lacadazical like Iceman he is dedicated; so much so that in the

Shattershot mini series he's in the danger room with the X-men facing apocalyse in a burning building

and he offers himself as a sacrifice to make

sure the team succeeds. He was finally a character of deep substance and fearless faith. "What greater

love does a person have than to lay down his life for a friend"-Jesus Christ. Yeah, Bishop originally was

fresh but he's gone through some watering downs and so forth and could use a new start.

Probably

Deathstroke or Creeper or Mr. Miracle maybe more. Deathstroke has been executed the best out of these three in comics.
