Well actually the new series A Burning Hand is part of a continuing series. Darkhorse likes to to make limited series but then if u check on the title page you'll notice it says number 6 in a series. They follow the same numbering system as B.P.R.D. Each arc is represented as a many series but it is actually part of the larger series. I've noticed that dark horse is the only publisher that does this. So lobster johnson is an ongoing it just had a 4 year hiatus from the last arc which was iron Prometheus in 2007.

At the end of Fear Itself Cap gets his shield fixed and chooses to keep the crack in it as a reminder of what happened during the events of fear itself. As im reading the avengers books, the Cap books, and any time Cap is featured in any book, im always looking for the crack in the shield, but can never seem to locate it. I figured that if they made a point to say something about it in an event changing book that the characters would have changes in books that take place after the event itself. Looking at Cap the artists always put a lot of detail into his costume with his chest piece mail, so i assume that they would be able to put as much attention into a scar on shield. If artists are just overlooking this then it just makes the whole fear itself moment not as meaningful. Has anyone else noticed this? have you spotted the scarred shield, and if so where?

Ok... That's the best jumping on point for any series. But let's be practical about costs. is there a break or an arc that would be a good time to jump in on it.

SPOILER******

So did anyone else notice the one little sentence that seemed to randomly be put into batgirl 5 about how she was able to walk again? It states that she had neural implant surgery. Now correct me if im wrong, i dont remember this being mentioned in any other issue prior to this, i just remember it not being mentioned. So im kind of shocked to see it just placed and then quickly the story moves on. So just a simple sentence explains it all i guess. I was expecting like a filler issue that could go into her struggle of being able to walk again. I think that would have made a great story because it would really show Batgirl's strength as a female character. Now maybe im speaking too soon about and Gail has something in store to further explain this. Now to wait and see i guess.

So I keep hearing wonderful things about invincible but i notice that it's at like issue 86 or something, so as a new reader to the series when is a good jumping on point. I dont mind if i have to read a few arcs backs but as long as i dont have to spend too long trying to catch up, my stack is already big enough as it is.

Hey I'm from Bako and our comic book shops r weak. If u want good customer service and reliability of having the comics in stock when they release would be russos books at the marketplace. They have a pull list option that gives u 15% off of ur comic purchases. The only downside about this place is that the workers don't read the comics so u don't get that comic book store experience. The other store is paladins gaming and it has a very limited stock of comics, they focus more on tabletop games. Like I said Bako is weak in the comic department considering its a decent size city. I've turned towards online stores instead to save money since I wasn't getting the local comic bookstore experience.

Armor from X-Men. She was a prominent character in the beginning of astonishing X-Men, but she kinda disappeared for a little bit. Shes got an amazing power asset that could be greatly utilized and explored. I did notice her in the new mini series Alpha and Omega so hopefully theyve got something in store for her
