Though I am quite biased, Batman is the #1 DC superhero in terms of external popularity. He has been for quite some time and will be for the foreseeable future. Historically his products have been critically and commercially successful (except for Schumacher, but who doesn't want to forget that). Some have whined since the announcement that this movie will be a cash grab. Of course it will be. The main objective of a movie is to make money and with greater appeal, ie a more popular character added to the mix, the movie will make more money. For those who complain that DC puts out a worse product in comparison to Marvel to make a quick buck, it is ridiculous that you could make that claim based on the company's first venture into a shared universe film. Sure, Zack Snyder isn't the best director in the world, but this was his first try at traditional super heroics. It wasnt the best film, but it certainly wasnt the worst. I, myself, am thrilled with the prospect of this upcoming adventure. I believe the creative team will figure out a script that works and create a fantastic film around it. Of course the visuals will not be a problem at all.

I am inclined to believe that the man dying before Ollie cries "It should have been me..." is Ted Kord. The actor is unrecognizable and there was a hint of blue in his jacket/costume. However, I am most likely incorrect.

Very disappointed in the costume selection. If they made mask/leather jacket Jason, lots more people (including myself) would be buying it.
