Well, I'm from Canada and same sex marriage is legal and you should see the desolation it has brought to our country. Toronto is in flames, Vancouver has drifted off into the ocean, Quebec has built a wall of poutine around their province and polar bears have invaded Alberta.
Oh wait, we're still fine. Our society is still nice and stable, gay people have not begun to force the straights to gay marry and people just generally think about gay marriage as much as they do straight marriage (so, if you're single like me, not at all). It's just a normal day-to-day thing here.
I'm not bashing, but it does confuse me about America sometimes. The people against gay marriage would probably say they are proud to be American and have their freedoms, but they are willing to take away or barr freedoms of other Americans.
