I fail to understand the reasoning behind making the first 5 issues filler. It's almost as if they want the book to fail.

The red head spider-woman was hot in a geekish sort of way.

I still don't understand how they plan on bringing in non readers. Are we going to see some kind of ad campaign? They are rebooting the characters to make them friendlier to a younger audience, but does the younger audience even know comics exist? Or where to buy them?

This is supposed to get new readers? This kind of betrayal makes me want to quit DC books altogether.

I've given up on "event" books after Brightest Day and have paid zero attention to Flashpoint. I really hope they don't reboot based off a run I care very little about.

" I hated the end of Brightest day. I felt cheated and felt like I wasted 24 issue. It felt like Earth's ultimate protector was Captain Planet.
"Bollocks" pretty much sums up how I felt about the end. They could have easily had someone much better as the protector.
"
This is exactly how I feel.

It left a bad taste in my mouth, after having to stomach 24 issues with little to no payoff.

Isn't Wahlberg like 5'2? Either way, I just don't see him in that role.
