What are your thoughts about who Skye's father is?

I didn't even go searching and for some reason stumbled on this and thought "hmmm....maybe": Skinless Man

(Sorry, I know your review alerts re: spoilers, but I like to be cautious)

Fantastic list! Thanks for the great work, especially on keeping it current.

I'm going in cautiously optimistic, but still not pleased with giving up EMH. Why does the entertainment world fix things that aren't broken?

I agree. Season 9 has had ups and downs, but mostly downs. I am glad that we finally get to see Illyria again, but it feels like the Buffy title has really stalled and has lost a little of the magic (no pun intended) that makes BtVS so enjoyable. The newer characters seemed forced and aren't allowed a proper chance to develop but we also has not seen enough of the Scoobies, or at least those still around. I also agree that Angel & Faith is consistently one of my favorite reads each month.

I am glad so many people are liking this series. To me, the best thing to have happened in this book so far is the argument between Sam, Bobby, and "Spider-Man" about workplace refrigerator etiquette.

This issue picked up the pace, but I really wish they would have just launched a "Cosmic Avengers" series. I really want to like this book, I LOVE the Avengers, but it's toward the bottom of my reading list at the moment.

Sorry if you have discovered this already, but it sounds like from your review that you bought & read Shi/Cyblade. It was not serious and very annoying in my opinion. This issue was number 2 of the 2 issue set and the first one (Cyblade/Shi) is, as far as I know, the first appearance of Witchblade and has a lot more of Sara in it (and is a WAY better story too IMO).

I am not reading any of these, because while I respect the original GN, I am not the biggest fan. I would have to say that IMO the worst act we saw the Comedian commit was the murder of the Vietnamese woman he impregnated. Although attempted rape of Silk Spectre is also pretty atrocious.

Loved this show! I need to buy the DVDs so my kids can enjoy good cartoons that weren't all about selling products.

Totally agree about Wade's "partner" in this issue being a cool character that has been unnecessarily and unsuccessfully messed with as of recent. I like DP's new approach, but I really would like to see him go back to "normal" so he can truly cut lose again. I mean, losing to the Trapster?!? Oh Wade...SMH

Marvel had three simultanious events going on at the same time as this with a massive effort to tie every character to them, even tying Hercules to Spider Island. Crap like this loses readers, there's no sense of continuity and nobody wants to have to read Fear Itself to catch up with Avengers especially if earlier Avengers issues didn't lead up to it. Its no wonder Fraction had to end it the way he did, considering how poorly the whole thing was doing.

True words. I hate that we can't seem to get all of our big characters living in the same universe at the same time. Obviously Schism and Spider-Island couldn't be occuring at the same time as Fear Itself, but through improper planning... We can't even get the Secret Avengers to stay connected to FI through the course of the whole story. It makes you long for the original Secret Wars. One mini-series, self contained, and quality storytelling.
