People love to jump to the most dramatic possibilities and conspiracy theories.  I say we wait to see if he's still playing Happy Hogan.  If he is, then he probably was just too busy, tired of directing Iron Man, or just didn't have a creative vision he was happy with for the movie.  If he's not, then let the conspiracies commence.

How can we forget about the most powerful person to ever wield Mjolnir?  Superman.

Morrison's JLA was the best team book.  Period.  Not the best version of the Justice League, but the best team book.  Claremont's X-Men?  Bendis' Avengers?  Levitz' Legion of Superheroes?  Wolfman/Perez' Teen Titans?  All classics.  But nothing, and I mean nothing, stands up to Morrison's JLA.

Long before this story line started and the hype machine was in full swing, I knew that the success of this story hinged entirely on Marvel actually having the guts to make Daredevil a villain.  They didn't, and from a storytelling perspective, Shadowland was a failure.  The moment his eyes started glowing and he grasped his head talking to, the story failed.

I think on the one hand, not knowing anything gives you a fresh perspective, and the chance to be really taken in by the plot twists and surprises.  But at the same time, a truly great work stands on its own, even if you know everything that happens.  Everyone knows New York gets destroyed at the end of Watchmen, but that knowledge doesn't make the story less great.  Death of Gwen Stacy is right there in the title, but that doesn't lessen the impact the story still has.  Not knowing spoilers is great, but the mark of a truly classic story is if spoilers fail to detract from the story.

i always loved Kyle Rayner's original costume.  Was very obviously Green Lantern, but was different and separate than the standard Corps costume, fit Rayner and the current state of the GLC very well.

Any time Paul Dini handles the Batman/Catwoman relationship, it's always a joy to read.  They're my favorite couple in comics, and nobody has ever written them better than Dini.

I'm avoiding Big Time like the plague for one reason, and one reason alone.  Carlie Cooper.  Is it petty?  Probably.  But that's how much I hate the damn character

Say what?  The only comic book shows I can think of are Walking Dead and Smallville, and Walking Dead is a far cry from what you'd expect from a comic book tv show.  And it's not like this is anything new.  What about the Adam West Batman series?  Or the Wonder Woman and Hulk shows in the 70s.  Don't want to forget about the Flash or Lois And Clark shows from the 90s either.  And Smallville has been on the air for an entire decade, it's not some new trend that's just starting.

Wait, so the special, totally cheap price that'll only be for these books to show how much Marvel cares about its fans is...the exact same price DC is lowering ALL books to permanently.

Classy Marvel, classy.
