What I do know for sure is that the fans of both teams lost cause it just may have been Marvel's worst "Event" ever. Well at least the worst in the 616

@Shark_Repellent_Bat_Spray: Yes by a large margin. AvX was so bad that its almost impressive. Its like the writers deliberately tried to make the worst thing ever. I wish that had been the case because if they were deliberately trying to tank it then I could respect the effort

Worse than the Clone Saga?
Clone Saga is pretty bad, but there was enough good mixed in there to not make it the "worst event ever" by a long shot. It's not even the worst Spider-Man related event (that would be One More Day), nor the "worst event of the 90's", which is Hero's Reborn.

I actually haven't read AvX, but the bolded statement kindof makes me want to. You make it sound like the Troll 2 of comic-book events. Would you say it's one of those "so bad it's good" things, or is it just bad?
@Moonchilde: Cyclops and the X-men went full Magneto, and Cap turned fascist despite the fact that he was literally created specifically to be anti fascism and Scarlet Witch and Hope defeated a force that not even Galactus would want to fight
Yes. They did. You can keep your CYCLOPS WAS RIGHT t-shirts. Steve Rogers will keep his freedom and comfy bed in Avengers HQ while mutantkind are hated and their leader is homeless squatting in the ruins of a building dedicated to mutant torturing.
