You're prose style is acceptable, but please never again use the phrase "thought to himself". It is one of the most contemptible lines of first-person narratives. Unless your story concerns telepathy, you need not specify that your protagonist thought it proper to conceive his own thoughts in his mind. It is redundant.

@Icarusflies: Those are some very valid points, but I still believe the character is at least a very loose inspiration for Lau.

@Rudyftw: I had considered for my proposal an ending for part two where Bruce Wayne receives an invitation to go to the circus (make a lucky guess as to what the main attraction would have been), but I thought the Talia Al Ghul ending was more appropriate.

Yes. I know that 'The Joker' is incredibly popular, but all good things must come to an end.

This, for me, is as good as sequel to 'The Dark Knight' as any. I cannot wait for series 2!
