@ltbrd:  Am I to understand you'd prefer Dick going around the planet as Batman, and Bruce staying home in Gotham City to raise his son? Interesting, but not within the spirit of both characters. Bruce was and is and will always be a loner. Dick, as you state, is more a team player, and with all the Batman emulators running around Gotham these days needing to be coordinated, Dick is in the right place. Bruce needs to mentor those that he finds capable.

As for the entire topic, Good will ultimately always triumph, however, evil has some victories of varying proportions along the way.....

Tune in next time....

The quick answer is, they do it off camera.

The quick answer is yes, I have. The longer answer is more complicated. If I haven't picked something up in awhile, I'll re-read the issues to remind myself where I am in the story. As for graphic novels, The Dark Knight Returns is always a good read, and withstands the test of time.

The reality of the situation is, his current suit allows for it. I wouldn't say that his pants were wet. Furthermore, a bladder spasm can still be produced even without a full bladder. If it was empty, nothing happened.

Do you truly believe that with all the exercise he gets fighting criminals, the water he takes in wouldn't leave his body beforehand? I'm no expert in bio-chem, however, I believe that he empties his bladder before he goes out to fight crime, and there wouldn't be anything in it in the first place.

Batman doesn't outright kill The Joker because he doesn't want to be a murderer.

He has caused criminals to kill each other in the past. Mike Barr wrote a great story in the 80's, however, no one remembers back that far....

It worked in the 70's. For awhile.

If I had the time, i'd explain why it wouldn't work today.

PS, I don't get why The CW can't afford the license fee to something that they indirectly own.

From what I've seen so far, it's neither a hit or a miss. If NBC gives it a chance to catch on, and the writing holds up, it may last.

I believe reading anything more into it than the need to find additional revenue streams is a massive fail. Sure, they may justify the initial expense by stating that it will attract more readers to comics, however, some would only buy the classics in comic form, and nothing else.

I think he's come to the conclusion that at some point, he himself will have to take off the cape and cowl for the last time, and let someone takeover for him, whether it be Dick, Tim, or Damien, or even someone else.  I don't believe that Bruce Wayne will go away entirely, ever. There are some that believe that Bruce died and became Batman, or the man that would become Batman, when he witnessed his parents death. I don't subscribe to this theory.

The theory that board members would be shocked is ludicrous to say the least. Anyone with half a brain could figure out that if Bruce himself isn't Batman, he's footing the guy's bills.

Add to that the fact that Grant Morrison already believes that the people of Gotham already know that Bruce is Batman, and they aren't saying anything, simply because he's well, Batman.

So the conclusion that there will be some sort of academy for up and coming crimefighters is interesting, however, not needed, as traveling the globe and training the next generation of costumed heroes is already happening in Batman Inc.

We already know that more crime will happen in Gotham during the day when the criminals realize that Batman only comes out at night. Maybe this new book will change that....
