A Tribute to all things Gargoyles
In honor of one of my favorite TV shows of all time, I just thought I'd make my first list a dedication to it. So here are all the characters from Gargoyles.

Ah yes. The main Garg himself. Any tribute to Gargoyles must begin with Goliath. Voiced superbly by Keith David, the noble and righteous Goliath is the main hero of our story. Kind, wise, and powerful, he's a somewhat uncommon example of one of my favorite characters being the main one. Its just a shame that that abysmal third season of Gargoyles has his name in its title.

The kind and compassionate glue that holds the clan together. The one person the Manhattan Clan can consistently trust in the outside world. Elisa's a street-smart detective who has developed a romantic relationship with Goliath. Don't let the picture fool you though: her hair in the show is blue. As blue as blue can possibly be. Still, she's a great character. I just know I wouldn't dye my hair if I was a police officer...

The Machiavellian main antagonist of the series. A bit like Tony Stark in some ways, but very much his own man. Desires immortality, stating that "What's the point of having all the riches in the world if Fox and I can't enjoy them forever?" Possessed of an unflappable manner, and the antithesis of cliched villains everywhere, he is a joy to watch. And he's voiced by Jonathan Frakes. That also helps.

The other main antagonist. But where Xanatos has a softer side brought out by his family, Demona has NO soft side. Immortal and with a thousand years of hatred to her name, Demona won't rest until the humanity she so despises is wiped off the face of the Earth. Skilled in sorcery, a master tactician, and also able to turn into a human during the day courtesy of a gift from Puck, Demona is one of the most interesting (and disturbed) characters in the series.

My personal favorite character on the show. A lonely survivor from Medieval Scotland cursed with an immortality he never wanted. "Well you've got courage beastie, I'll give you that. What you don't have, is a prayer"

"A friendly word of advice. True immortality isn't about living forever, man. It's about what you do with the time you have. When all your scheming's done, what will your legacy be, Xanatos?

Member of the Trio. Also the timedancer, wife of Katana, and father of Nashville. Something of a fan favorite, which is why Greg Weisman gave him his own spin-off in the first place.

Member of the Trio. Possess a love of all things mechanical.

Member of the Trio. Has a bit of an appetite, but his was also the saddest death in "Future Tense" and also quite possibly the whole show. Angela chose him as her mate

The Manhattan Clan's Gargoyle Beast.

Former leader of the Pack. Wife of David Xanatos and mother to Alexander Xanatos, who is given his mother's name as a middle name.

The trickster from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" who here is but one of many of "Oberon's Children" Disguised as Owen Burnett when with David Xanatos. Currently a mentor and guardian for young Alexander Xanatos.

The daughter of Goliath and Demona. Former member of the Avalon Clan, currently part of Goliath's clan in Manhattan. "We're not demons, we're gargoyles, and its time you learned to respect that name!"

A villainous clone of Goliath raised to have Xanatos's view of the world. "I'd considered caring about you. It took some effort, but I arranged for you to join this party because I planned on sharing the money with you. But our little... family reunion disappointed me, "father." So I've decided to *hate* you too!
