Bane by a landslide. I actually liked TopherVenom. I don't think it was his fault the movie kinda sucked. There was just way too much going on. Take out Sandman completely and delete the disco dancing scene and I think the movie would have been much better. On the other hand, Schumaker and the writers of that terrible Batman movie apparently had no idea who Bane is supposed to be. Their charecterization of him (or lack there of) was was of the low points of a really awful movie and that's really sating something.
I was pretty pissed when I first heard that Cable was coming back so soon. He's been one of my favorite charecters for years and I was pretty sad when he died. I still think bringing him back so soon is cheap, but this sounds pretty damned cool to me!
I realize not everyone knows the origins of all the heroes and it's a great story. It may even help new readers. I am not a fan of realeaseing new origin books every couple of years though. Just realease another reprint with a new cover instead of redoing the whole thing.
I agree that they should be forgiven, but it depends on the amount of damage they've caused on how easily and quickly it will happen. The Daredevil thing I can see as pretty easy to forgive. The Archangel thing, especially in the last issue, maybe not so much (or Parallax for that matter.) They're friends would be the first ones to fogive them but the general populas could take awhile. I think the idea of a court appointed telepath is a great idea too. Create somebody new or blow the dust off someone that hasn't benn used for awhile. It could even be a SHIELD appointed posistion for cases of superpowered folks that dun messed up.
I can't afford to get all of the new 52 that I want, but damnit it s getting harder and harder to decide. I thought for sure I was going to get Batman & Robin, but this sounds so awesome I may have to re- evaluate.
