My understanding is Flash is very limited, I didn't grow up watching/reading DC cartoons. All I know from the forums is that Flash has super speed, can IMPaunch and speed steal. In a clip where he fights against Zoom (I think that's his name) he is also able to create ice on the side of a rocky surface.

Anyways my 'not understanding' of Flash lies in his ability to IMP. Wally, Frank they're all humans, am I not right? Now with a durability of a human, wouldn't IMPs shatter his arm or upper body, cause the laws of physics state that every force has a counter-reacting force.

Something along those lines. Any clarification would be nice, thanks.

Just focus on answering the question whether Death Battle done a good job of the fight or not, explain (preferably), and leave it at that! Not here for another Goku versus Superman thread people!

In that entire rant, you didn't defend or prove any bias in their video. There was no bias. Superman IS that fast, Superman IS that strong. He really DID THOSE THINGS. Nobody in the comments section of that video should be taken seriously, or listened to at all. Most are trolls and have no idea what they are talking about. Even with comic book references, scans and pictures of Superman doing those things, all the DBZ fanboys still deny it as truth. Goku winz cuz he gotz teh' kamehameha. Thats the end of it for them. It doesn't matter that Goku struggled to lift a small portion of the intersection in that GT Episode, where SSJ4 was NEEDED to hold the building upright, it doesn't matter at all that Superman can tow planets and recently held up the world for 5 days without a break. It doesn't matter that Solar Flare attack blinds everyone in dbz, but Superman sits inside of Real Solar Flares for giggles. Facts like that just don't matter. Goku is their favorite, he lost, therefore Screwattack SCREWED up somehow.

Mr. P0rtal, I think you misunderstood several viewpoints posted here. From my perspective, what Death Battle screwed up on was Goku's numbers as well as representation in the actual battle. Yes, I was rooting for Goku throughout the battle, and yes, I am disappointed by this Death Battle, however not because of Goku's loss, but at how he was presented to the audience. Yes, many of us here at ComicVine know not to take the video battle word for word/ seriously but seeing that Death Battle is considered the FINAL, or 'OFFICIAL' deciding factor of Goku versus Superman, they really should have done a better job on the representation of Goku.

FYI this is what this whole thread's been getting at,'do you think Death Battle fell short on Goku's representation in the latest fight?' and NOT "OMAHGERD goku lost it must be because Wiz and Boomstick are DC wankers", which you seem to be interpreting this thread as. I really don't feel like clarifying this anymore so this will be the last time I repeat myself...

Have a g'day.

@Parallax_Hal_Jordan: It's canon that King Kai's planet is 10 times Earth's Gravity.

Is it more acceptable to be a DC fan than a DBZ fan on ComicVine?

coz a lot of these comments dismissing DBZ arguments seem to lack knowledge about the show. (in this case, the argument is that Wiz and Boomstick lowballed Goku in the latest Death Battle)

Did you read what i just wrote?i said it's not stated the planet where Goku was training after Cell saga had 10G. I never said Kaio Sama's planet hasn't 10 G...OMG. That planet you just show me in that video was destroyed by Cell dude...and obviously is a complete different planet o.O

If i need some more "knowledge" about DBZ, you sure need more "reading skills" :P

LOL my bad dude. I'll read, I promise!

I thought it was a bit unsatisfying.

First of all, they used composite Superman. Using all his feats from New52, PC, the various animated series, Smallville, etc. etc.

For Goku they seemed to have forgotten that a lot of his quantifiable feats were severely outdated by the end of the Dragon Ball Z. Him crossing Snake Way happened during the Saiyan Saga. Plus his 40 ton feat was on a kai planet, which has 10 times normal gravity, making it a 400 ton feat. So most of their calculations were of outdated feats.

As for Superman, they used many of his highest feats, and ignored base level feats. They stated he could fry a planet with his heat ray, when the most he was able to do was raise the temperature a bit. In his fight against Zod he destroyed half a moon and it nearly killed him, and that's really a more baseline average feat for Superman than tanking 10 supernovas.

Then we have Goku's durability in the Cell saga that was him able to tank a bomb capable of destroying the planet, but again, it was an outdated feat even by the end of the Cell saga, by Buu saga it was ancient history.

It was entertaining, but I think a lot of their calculations were outdated, and not very well sourced (on both sides).

Thanks for reading,

Floopay
