Let me preface this with the statement that I don't personally think hal could beat goku . However if i knew nothing of either character and had to base my opinion off of evidence stated by these two debaters I would have to side with @dccomicsrule2011. He presented a better argument than @pope052. With my knoweledge on both characters i know that there where many points not brought up for Goku , plenty of solid arguments that could've been made in his defense with scans to support them .
