A few of those scans are pretty misleading. The Maximum Carnage one Spider-Man is already pretty seriously injured when Venom hits him, you can see in the first Panel Spidey is holding his ribs already. The one with the Scarlet Spider was one of his first fights...Afterwards Ben comes back and in the next fight he whoops Venom pretty seriously. And while Ben is a clone...he doesn't have the years of experience Peter does. The one in the church, well..that's a pretty clear win for Venom...at the same time though...Spider-man does say he's distracted during the fight.
Venom has all Spider-Man's abilities, is invisible to the Spider-Sense, and is just Stronger than Spider-man. The factors that keeps Peter alive are 1. That Venom wants to toy with him before he kills him and 2. That Spider-Man is smarter than Venom. A lot of the "Plot Devices" that Spider-Man has used to help him win in the past are completely improvised.
If we're using Peter with his "Other" Power set..He's going to beat Venom down with no need for any "Plot Devices"
@Enemybird: I like how it can destroy the solar system...but Cloud, Cid, and Red can take it. If they can survive it....Marvel can.
thats more of a game play mechanic... for an example solid snake can survive virtually anything so long as he has rations in the game...But we all know snake isn't that durable outside gameplay. Same goes for this attack we all know if this team were to be feet away from a exploding sun they would all die...
Ummm...so would everyone else...nobody wins if everybody dies.
I hate it when people do this. Batman is not a rush type so stop making him fight like it. Shit give the guy a week researching thor and bats would pretty much beat the crap out of him.
Batman doesn't always get a week to prep. Suggesting that he should always be allowed prep time is like saying he's useless without it.
