I know that there is no possible way to calculate how fast or how strong a character is, and there is no way to make a system believable that doesn't mean I won't try ;)
I need a list for right now of the Vine's Super Strength people! I don't want ALTS that haven't been used in ages I want the Active ones. WITH A LINK
For it to count, the Character Must be used in an RPG.
Only Actually Super Strength Counts (Thru Items is alloweD) , Strength thru other means isn't allowed.

I need a list for right now of the Vine's Active Speedsters, or have Super speed as a power
Characters that weren’t linked were not added, Also Rankings based off Consisteny ( how many changes the Character has undergone) Usage; how much the Character is used. Power activation.
(Natural Speedsters , items users, low level speed)
Seems like only yesterday I was joining this site... no it doesn't it actually feels like three years. However it was an awesome three years!. Thought i technically joined on the 29th, this year doesn't have one!
I've pretty much spent all Three of my Years here in the Fan Fics and Rpg sections, I'm really happy with how everything is up to this point. I'm glad I embraced some of the opportunities i was confronted with. (Decept-O and Tonis). I've really tried this last year to embrace all aspects of this site. So to a great 3 years Thanks!

Despite what it looks like, being a leader of an RPG team is hard work. The leader has the daunting task of, finding “New Talent” getting that talent involved in the rpg system; The leader in most cases has to provide new and exciting rpg’s to keep the team interested, but also the leader must be optimistic. As a leader you want to know everything about the members of your team (Character-Wise), Where they’re from, their back-story everything. This is a whole hell of a lot easier if you’re related to most of those characters; however in my case it’s not.
Character Based Rpg’s: Not really a fan of CB’s but they are good for the simple fact that on a team that’s always aiming for the Grand Scale Rpg’s this gives select members a chance to allow their team into their history. These are the rpg’s that give off that sense of individuality.
Huge Rpg’s (Team Vs Team): Are exactly what they mean, Huge anywhere from 15- 20 Viners; with so many people posting seldom does every post get read; but these Huge are probably more important, because it’s a showcase; It’s basically Our talent vs their Talent and as a leader, it’s your job to make sure you put certain members of your team in that “limelight” whether they want it or not.
Most people in that spot take it, and it leads to them doing more and more rpg’s around the community; which is what we want. If I know So- and So can move a story, without godmodding and downplaying my character. I’m more likely to work with that person; than a person whom writes well, but only does the bare minimum in a post.
(One example of just a great story, was that one me and NH did, because it had no plot or anything, it was just a team up; and we just post until a story developed.)
Non active members, are team killers; problem with Omega Justice (The first) was I wasn’t in control of who was being admitted to the team, (keep in mind I’ve been here for nearly two years) but I was seeing all these “In actives” being admitted to the team, and I knew it would be a downfall. Members who keep telling you that they’ll post; or that they’ll be more active but then don’t do a thing are Team Killers; and what you have to do as a leader is invoke a active persona. What’s the point of having an inactive member bearing your name, if they aren’t around cut them from the roster; it’s a spot someone else can have.
This isn’t to be confused with Semi-Active members, don’t be a heartless leader there are some Adults (and school students) that rpg; but can’t commit to it full time. These people usually tell you when joining they won’t be fully active; that’s when you just let them know what rpg’s to post in and what the team is doing.
I’m not the type of leader who says there HAS to be a set list of things you must cover in a post; IF our rpg is about fire and you say something about steel I’m not going to bite your head off. However there is a relevance factor that everyone needs. IF you go overboard with the Steel then I might say something, but Mid rpg I’m always open to a plot change or twist. (IDK about everyone else) I like how the creative mind works, so if I think that someone else’s plot twist will make a killer story that’s what we’ll do. As a leader you want to make sure everyone is involved.
Create a fun atmosphere; DK does an awesome job at this, Not all team rpg’s have to be serious, or Hero vs Villian. It can be something simple like a birthday party, or a hero dedication ceremony.
Drama- I don’t like it when members from any of my teams are wrapped in a lot of drama because it alienates, you (who can be seen as an associate), from everyone else and it just casts a negative vibe on the section. One BIG thing that was a problem for some members on OJ was the massive amount of bickering, and whining going on in voting threads. So, me being the awesomely awesome leader that I am advocated to just let the Voting threads go.
Stop doubting yourself. Not really a leader tip, but just in general; I don’t wanna hear that “I don’t wanna rpg with you cause you’re a legend” Or “I’ll rpg with you when my skills get better” It’s complete B.S and when you do that you eliminate the chance at making a good story and character development.
This one’s a pet peeve; so I’ll put it in CAPS
JUST BECAUSE YOUR CHARACTER ASSOCIATES THEMSELVES WITH LEGENDS, DOESN’T MEAN THEY’RE ENTITLED TO THE SAME TREATMENT.
Back in my day (lol), everyone character was different, there were a few people whom had linked stories (me included) but you could separate our characters from the person we were linked to. Now it’s like I approach and RPG and I’m supposed to downplay my character whom has been around for two years; to some brat that’s the nephewsisterniece of Kublahkhan. B.s I don’t care if your related to MR, NOVA, HUNTER OR ARROW you earn your place in this section just like everyone else.
P.S I want someone to take offense, cause I’m feeling b!tchy >:)
Ok, so they way my character is set up; is so that everything that happens in the CVU stays in the CVU and then everything that happens in the SU (Sha universe) Stays in the SU; however recently i've thrown a spin on it, and It sorta kinda effects those whom have connections to certain Characters. Ziccarra Liafador formely known as Sha; was erased from CVU existence; since the CVU runs parralel with the SU; the Universe began to substitute people from the Sha universe into the CV, to fill that void. Basically the universe i have where all my characters have there own orginal bio's has been compromised and those people like Gwen and Maya are switching universes.
Yuppers taken right out of DC, only I'm going to do it for Sha, If you haven't read Sha lost her inner fight with Chaos Black, which made them finally become one person. NOW; Solace City needs a SHA to step up and be a leader. The problem is which one? It would be easy to make Maya (Solace) the new Sha, but I have other plans for Maya. So this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to do a One shot for 8 of my characters (One's that have been around), and what i need you guys to do is decide which one would make a good replacement. This is for ONE to see if i could transform another one of my characters into my main, and two a good way for everyone to understand this NEW Sha right out the bat. So these are the nominee's
In this section you will learn how to:
· Write an rpg post/ Respond to an Rpg post
· Create a Team/ Recruit members
· Advanced Bio’s
I’ve trained a few Viners and many of them all start off the same way having a good premise but lacking the major components of an actual rpg which include:
· Detail
· Sentence Structure
· And basic Rpg structure.
Probably the hardest thing about Rpging is the opening, but a very descriptive opening sets the tone for the rest of the rpg. I know I know enough talking right! Ok let’s do it!
Opening an rpg, you want to start with a place that has limitless options for description, now I will be battling Myself, as Gerald the Sloth. Here’s an example of an opening post.
Ok that’s an opening post example, clearly it’s not finished but that’s how I’ll start if off, Gerald is in the forest waiting for his target to come, so we get the sense that Gerald is an assassin, and he’s done this before.
Ok now this is the part where I call “setting up the opponent” . I’ve faced a lot of people who didn’t know how to set me up. Here’s kind of an idea of what I’m talking about. “I’m the Villian doing bad stuff, and the hero is somewhere in my general area, now instead of coming to me, they make me come to them, I’m a Villain WTF am I finding a hero for, understand?”
You probably don’t, but I’ll try to help you, ok let’s say that I’m on a bridge an I’m destroying it, and the hero is in the city, wondering what is happening, at the end of the hero’s post they need to either be on the way or on the bridge so the encounter between the hero and Villain is there. Understand? No! Fine I’ll show you! By posting the body of the RPG from Sha’s point of view (Remember Sha is the Villain, and we are going to assume that Gerald has spotted her)
The forest had went on idle, there was no sound; other than that of the mighty waterfall glancing around the forest Haven the Ninjan queen tried to zero in on what the disturbance might be but, the mist coming from the waterfall corrupted her keen eyesight. Moving through the forest, she could feel her anger growing, someone was watching her. She couldn’t understand why the world wouldn’t leave her alone, she didn’t take place in the events of judgment day, and so why were they after her?
Aaaaaand Cut, now in our rpg so far, Gerald has spotted Sha, Sha knows Gerald is around but she can’t find him, now what should Gerald do? Confront the Ninjan, if Gerald doesn’t make the interaction between him and Sha in his next post often times that ends up with the Sha (player) not having much to post about. That’s what I mean when I say setting up an rpg, put your opponent in the position to come in. That is if the battle is done on a whim, now one thing I’ve seen eclipse and Portrait both do is set it up like a story rpg, which is probably better, but I’m from the old school so I do it the other way. Both are great ways though.
Alright let’s finish this Rpg Post (The Gerald One).
Now when you put the two posts together it should look like this:
YAY we constructed an rpg post, one that only has 347 words in it, I usually make mine between 500- and 1,000, unless I’m facing Nova, then the sky is the limit. However I think a good 500 word post is a good number, it allows you to get all the details of a fight. Back in the day it was nothing for me to put up a 3,000 word post in like every rpg, then I realized no one was reading so, I stopped. Making a good story is what counts, I doubt you can make a good story with fewer than 500 words in an rpg, and if you give me a 10,000 word post I’m simply not reading it, use your best judgment. Also not every Rpger uses Dialogue, even if they don’t that doesn’t mean you can’t, my character Sha talks to herself A LOT that’s a form of Dialogue. Ok Now Sha’s response. (Starting from where she spots Gerald).
And Cut, since Gerald didn’t end with an attack, which means more or less that Sha had to do a first attack, so I did. Now take a look at the word I have bolded, it is the most important word out of the whole paragraph. It’s an implied expression, which means it may or may not happen. Giving Gerald the option to take the hit or not take the hit, you must give the option for your opponent to take or dodge the hit. That’s called a God Mod! Ooooooooooooooooh scary. Automatically hitting your opponent is a Auto-Hit ooooooooooooh scarier!
All together Sha’s response looks like this.
That pretty much sums it up, if you have questions then ask! ^_^
When creating a team, you really want to go for something that hasn’t really been done, (Except for me I created the Vine Titans West because I couldn’t get that damn song
out of my head) Or something with a twist. After a while a team’s seem to be alike, and eventually they die with the exception OF, ICE, and The Wolfpack and WAL. Trying something with an edge may keep your team around for a while.
Don’t be scared to enlist rookies, you can have them on your roster and work with them, until they are ready for major rpg play.Renagade Lantern took Feral Nova under his wing look how big she is now. Mighty Magneto allowed me to be a VV before I had the requirements look at me now. Rookies with talent could be a good thing, they just need direction. I think it’s important for everyone to have a Canon Team, which is the team of experience rpger’s that will represent you in Vine wide rpg’s, let’s face it everyone can’t do it.
Take my Vine Titans for example, My Canon Team would be.
Solar Orchid
Inertia
Sozuko
Myself
Bombard
And Maybe Ebony Sparrow (IF she ever looked at her pm’s lol)
Lifepulse
The others aren’t really active or don’t really have the story rpg format down pact so they would be my battlers and Team Rpg people.
Now you really want to enlist people who will be there when you need them, people who are on the vine for one month and then leave and come back, that’s not going to work. Also there seems to be people with a weird fetish for joining the same team under another account (Idk why) but be on the lookout for that too! It’s not a big deal, but then again it is.
Do you remember in the rp where Sha referenced “Judgement day” that was a reference to a rpg that happened to the Vine, having a bio that deals with KEY vine events are good because you can tie your bio in with other characters, make new stories and …uh stuff! ^_^
