Hello everyone I'd like to talk to you tonight about your favorite heros. really i'd more like to ask who they are. I'll tell you my top five and my reasons for them. and then i'd like to hear what you have to say.

i got to thinking about a Superman game. they haven't been succesful or good when they've existed so i think they should put me in charge. heres my idea.

the game takes place in the midst of Supes's career its not an origin story all of the  villains we fight except for Doomsday Hae already been established , its like in Arkahm assaylum where you're already the Goddamned Batman , you already know who you are as the Big S. we open on a cutscene of Clark Kent working at his Desk at the Daily Planet, Lois lane (who Knows the secret of superman) rushes over to tell you she's going to go Cover a big story.  some lower teir villain has a group of people hostage over at pick a metropolis landmark. after she leaves clark walks over to perry to tell him about some story hes covering thats going to keep him out of  the office for a while and then cutscene ends. now you get your first chance of controlling Clark you can't use any of your powers but you learn to walk and follow clarks thoughts  to the roof where the door is locked and you learn how to grab and pull the door off its hinges, you emerge into the sunlight as superman and learn how to fly and use your powers en route to stopping the villain.  thats the opening level.

the story line for 3/4 of  the game hinges on some huge luthor plan that you can't prove he's behind though you have your suspicions. when you finally gather enough evidence you confront lex and have a fight under the influence of kryptonite (more on that later) then as your about to beat lex Darkseid shows up whit his plan ( you won't have a one on one fight with Darkseid he'll unleash doomsday on you and escape to the stars so that there can be a good sequel).

Controls: i have a Ps3 so i'll map out the controls for that. left analog movement, Right analog stick Grab ( flick it in a direction to have supes reach out and grab the closest thing in that direction if its within reach) , triangle button fly up, square button fly down, x quick strike, circle strong strike, L1 wide angle weak heat vision, L2 Xray Vision(like Batmans detective mode), R1 Focused Powerful heat vision, R2 freeze Breath ( I know most people dont like this but i love it so sue me), Click down the left stick to sprint.

othe R Game mechanics:
  Solar energy bar( refills and iallows you to use your powers(sprint, heat vision, and freeze breath)) solar energy will refill at different rates depending on the amount of sunlight in the area( quickly outside in metropolis ,slowly inside buildings).
Solar nodes : can be sought out throughout the game world and used to increase your powers and solar energy bar. 
Kryptonite Fights : when under the influence of kryptonite the Solar Energy Bar will not refill and you will move slower and punch weaker.
Minions : :Lex will have minions but this isn’t a spiderman game so we wont be fighting 40 at once. The minions will have been powered up by lexes experiments so that they are actually a challenge for Supes.
Other heros : other superheros Such as the green arrow will appear throughout the game , not as playable characters but they will be there to give KAl el information and lend their specific skills to the quest.
Villains ( a partial list of villains I want in the game): Lex, Darkseid, Doomsday,  Mettalo, Bizarro , Batman ( under  luthor mind control like the human bombs in All star Superman) and obviously others.
