Well, the way I imagine Aizen forming these "Avengers" of his would have been around the time when he was still Captain of The 5th Protection Squad and Hinamori was his Lieutenant.
And since she was completely under his control that she was totally incapable of living without him around that time it only makes sense that she would have stayed by his side even if she was consciously aware of just how dangerous the individuals he and Gin had allied themselves with were.
Also, the only way she wouldn't stay by his side is if Aizen killed her, either by himself or by having someone else do it for him, so it's only natural that she is on the team until Aizen no longer has any use for her.
