I know this post is years old but I can't help but put in my two cents here. I can see Joe Louis pulling a knockout win. Louis was flat footed, yes but he was also extremely conditioned, his trainers putting him through a regime where he'd be able to go twenty rounds. An out of his prime Louis had trouble with the crafty and elusive Jersey Joe Walcott and was put to the canvas by well timed counters. Though he eventually caught Walcott in the second fight. Louis was not only a power puncher but a precision puncher as well never wasting shots like Foreman or Liston and always learned from his mistakes especially after his fights with Schmeling and Godoy.

Ali could move, best footwork of any heavyweight. And yes in his prime he could do it for the full fifteen. As long as he doesn't get cocky he'd be fine. Henry Cooper floored and seriously hurt him in their first fight and almost KO'ed him But early in his career he was floored by the limited Sonny Banks who despite having a single punch in his resume put Ali to the canvas. Doug Jones also exploited his weakness and rocked him not half way through the first round. Truth be told if you want to rate the greatest heavyweight of all time I can't blame anyone who would have either or in the top spot. But I do think Louis was the more technical and efficient of the two.

@joshmightbe: No not the only one. They could have at least gone the American Eagle route or just reintroduce Puma, I actually liked him.

I haven't really been keeping up with what's going on with this Marvel event so if anyone could give me a brief explanation I'd appreciate it.

Darn it. I don't want to like this show but all these returns makes me want to start watching it.

Hmm, Batman rogues or Spiderman rogues? Well one gave us Signal Man and the other gave us the Penny Pilferer. So hard to choose.

Btw, does anyone remember this from years ago in Wizard Magazine?

@mrmazz: I kind of feel the same way. The Raimi movies kind of diminished in quality as they went on. But the ASM films seemed to be taking it back in the right direction. I'm not sure why everyone complained about them. I thought they would have been terrible but they surprised me.

Are they really just getting involved so they can have Spider-man in the Civil War storyline? I thought his movies were good enough as a stand alone franchise. I'm kind of disappointed that they're turning it into a team up series. But they're gonna do what they're gonna do.

Does this mean we won't get that sinister six film?

Cyclops definitely has the power in his optic blasts to end this in range but the deciding factor for Ninjak to win is speed. Speed gets him inside, speed gives him the advantage in hand to hand combat with fast, lethal blows. Scott may have excellent countering skills but Ninjak's quick inside shots will make it extremely difficult for Scott to protect himself. The biggest mistake Ninjak can make is letting Cyclops control the fight by keeping him at a distance. His master hacking skills can also give him a good opening if he is able hack into the grid to knock out the street lights. He can make good use of the dark and that, coupled with his agility and stealth tech can put a quick end to the fight.

@i_dont_like_comics: Of course it was parodied before. Robot Chicken , Family Guy and about a thousand others, duh. I'm saying that Disney is saturating it with all the ones they are doing in one big heap. To top that off they don't look appealing in the slightest. Then there were the game cancellations with 1313 being one of LucasArts' more daring games getting scraped along with the Battlefront series. It seems to me that Disney doesn't really know how to handle the properties they buy they just get them so they can corner the market on kids entertainment.

I don't understand. What is Marvel's problem with having an all Japanese cast from a book series that was based in Japan? And on top of that they changed almost everyone's origin stories and powers.
