I forgot that Frank in his very human-like non-powered way resists the Penance Stare of the Ghost Rider. An impossible task nobody in the Marvel U can do except for this anti hero who once again has NO POWERS. I'm just surprised that they didn't do Deadpool vs. The Thunderbolts because he's so in vogue now and lacking quality in creative teams (although they did a few years ago when he was gaining popularity from the Cable/Deadpool series during the Dark Reign story line).

@NonStopRobot: I agree, I liked the way they wrote in a more serious narrative and an almost 'Slade Wilson'-eske planned and calculated Spider-man. I was absolutely skeptical and only picked this issue up because it had a blank cover, but I'm glad I did.

In 21.1 Caps and Hawkeye go on a recon mission taking place in this country/area. In the subsequent 22-25 issues Remender develops a story with the Descendants that has a nice cliffhanger tying into the last page of this issue.

@The Lobster Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion and insight, I did read all of Cable/Deadpool because a friend had a thing for them and had all of it and that wasn't bad at all. The problem with this writing is that I knew he would be besting some of the greatest marvels, I'm just disappointing in the execution (no pun intended).

@Webjaker: Haha very true. I can't wait to see the next issue though. I'm really exited to see what happens in his search for the hooded justice.

I think, on a very long shot though, that the symbolism of his quest for justice for his love, also i think he feels as though his vigilantism is sort of a guilty pleasure. That's just my take, though.
