Daken is not Mariko's son, he's Itsu's son. I realize X-23 doesn't have a mother, but still, she's just as closely related to Kirika, they all have the same father. Also, Daken's a man, I was trying to paint a picture for those of us who don't know a lot about the X-Men universe, and a female counterpart made more sense. In addition, Daken hates Wolverine, X-23 is close to him just as Kirika. Lastly, this is the reason why I said, "She's sort of the AoA version of X-23." Next time you correct someone, be sure and read the fine print.

It's Kirika Howlett, Wolverine's and Mariko Yashida's daughter from AoA/Earth-295. She has all of her father's powers and the adamantium skeleton. She is sort of the AoA version of X-23.
