Justice League, they have Aquaman and Batman. Screw Superman, never liked him. Green Arrow vs. Hawkeye would be interesting though, but I have no clue about either of them so yeah. I mean, Batman trained at the edge of his peak, and look how he is doing. He beat up Superman for christ's sake, who just became a superhero because he was an alien, that's it. Aquaman fucking endures pressure and weight when in Atlantis, so he's strong by default. Can't say for the rest of the Justice League, but you forgot The Flash. I can see the Avengers having a chance with Thor, Ironman, and Hulk, but that's only three of them. I'm a bit biased when it comes to DC, as I love the heros.
I can't say much about origins, but pick up those series individually if you want. Cyborg doesn't have an individual series, and I can't say much about Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Superman, as I haven't read them yet. I heard that Wonder Woman New 52 vol. 1 covers her origin in trade paperback, so check that out. Aquaman, for the Trench (Vol. 1) they touch on his origin a bit, how important the lighthouse is and how he learned his powers. A superhero I recommend you MUST READ is Batwoman. It's freaking awesome, better than Aquaman in my opinion. I'm new too, so Aquaman and Batwoman are the only ones I read. If you're curious, go for it, I took the same chance with Batwoman and I love it.
Well I started my DC run for comics starting with the new 52, what are some good Marvel comics that are new reader friendly? I'm more interested in Spider-man and Deadpool.
This has probably been done before, and I know it has, but being new to comics, how are Marvel characters different from DC characters? Is the quality of the story different from each company? What is each of their pros and cons? I'd really like to know. Thanks
